I have known some people that have had serious health issues related to steriods.....
anyway my question is why do you all do steroids ?
the fact you need the that perfect body/male adonis complex ?
low self confidence ?
professional bodybuilder ?
want to fit in with the juicer crowd ?
is it worth risking your health for a better looking body ? If you have a wife or kids...... why risk losing all that for a better body ?
I am just curious, please answer with a serious response.
flame me all you want and bomb me all you want, I am from the C & C board and can replemish all my karma in a heartbeat. I dont even care about karma anyway.
My self esteem is just fine, is your? I don't have the need to ask ridiculous questions without doing research. I'm not a professional bodybuilder. At my weight I just want to get in prime physical condition.
I found a way to help me get into the best shape of my life and you have the audacity to question it?
Do you go over there to ask those Richard Simmons diet freaks why they do those ridiculous videos or take diet aids like Meridia and Phentermine? Those are drugs, that when taken, alter the composition of the body. Those are not healthy for us as the industry leads you to think. Read this next sentence, kid.
ANYTHING DONE IN EXCESS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR BODY!!
If you drink two gallons of orange juice a day it's not that good for you. If you somehow could manage to choke down 50 of those TV dinners the sodium content alone spells doom. Have you any idea the NATIONAL ratio of obese to non-obese people are in this country? 2:1!!! That's right, TWO to ONE. This country's putting itself at risk by consuming products (again in EXCESS) that lead to heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and a host of other health issues. These products are on every shelf of the stores, available in every drive-thru of every fast food chain and delivered in 30 minutes or less in an oily, hot box.
In actuality, THEY are doing more of this purported harm to their bodies than anyone that uses AAS. Collectively there is more knowlegde of human physiology, kinesiology, biochemistry and psychology here than in 70% of the US medical schools.
Why? In one word, research. I'm not asking us all to evaluate coffee or each meal, but perhaps we should.
Your attitude is reflective of the growing consensus among those who criticize without evidence, judge without knowledge and assume more often than you should. Combined with stereotyping/pre-conceived notions you fit the description of a word we all know very well:
PREJUDICED
Without knowledge there is ignorance. That leads to misundertandings that manifest into fear and ultimately hatred. Hatred compels you to seek out other that share your contorted views and together you form a collective knowledge base of misinformation that form the impetus behind your views.
I urge you, do research. Read a book on the subject. Get to know someone that walks this path instead of assuming the worst. AAS uses are everywhere young man. If you don't like steroid users turn of professional sports immediately.
But please, stop turning off your mind.
