Anyone Here A Lawyer?

Is anyone on here a lawyer i need some advice its not about steroids at all its more about a claim. I want to sue someone they permently damaged my ligement in my pinky... Any help would be great and any help given that results in a win of the trial will result in a bit of cash :) Let me know thanks

I could but then I realized you were in BC and you guys have different statutes than here (Civil Code here). Torts laws are very different....
 
This isnt for me this is for my brother. At school they made an activity day and they put him into wrestling and he said he didnt want to participate but they had him on an attendence contract and said if he didnt wanna participate he could leave and he said he didnt feel safe participating and that he wanted to do something different because people have been knowen to get hurt in that activity alot and he did wrestling the week before. Well anyways if he went home which he told the teacher/vice principal he would get breached on his probation order and get kicked out of school he said he didnt care. The result of the activaty(olympic wrestling) was his permenant damage of his ligament in his pinky finger. It was unsafe on what happenend everyone jumped on top of him and his finger wasnt hurt then the vice principle jumped on top which initially was the trigger of the damage to the pinky. He never filled out any wavier forms or anything like that either. My brother is 17. Any ideas? Opinions would be great thanks
 
Hes only 17 the doctor said he can make it straight again but that it will only be for looks now my question is im in canada and i want to know what you think is a reasonable price to ask etc.

To be honest, a finger is not worth much at all, even if it was cut off (in terms of compensation)
 
really well in canada its easy to sue the school board bro. haha u can sue mcdonalds for food poisioning and make 25,000 if u get the proper documentation done by ur doctor soo ya my dad thinks 10,000 is reasonable think about it bro hes 17 and cant use his pinky and it interfers with his everyday life

do you really want my advice? Pinkys break so easily. they are not worth much no offense. He will get nothing for it.If he even wins a claim all his winnings will go to the lawyer. *your welcome*
