Sample day:

Meal 1: 8egg whites, 1/2c oatmeal (splenda + cinnamon,leg days add fruit)
Meal 2: 6oz. Yogurt, 1c strawberries/any fruit
Meal 3: protein (yields 20-30g), carb serving (yield 30g carbs), green veggies ex... 5oz. Chicken breast,1L apple, .5-1c broccoli
Meal 4: 1oz. Almonds, 1 medium apple (fat serving/30-40g carb)
Meal 5: 5-6oz. Fish/ protein source, .5c broccoli (green veggie source), small sweet potato (complex carb source)---post training meal

Your breakfasts look delicious :) I always turn mine into pancakes too when I have both oatmeal and egg whites... its quick and easy that way and yummy too!!

I cant believe it!!! I woke up with a sore throat stuffy nose headache thing!!!Im running a fever now too :(

I just woke up....and feel like POO!! DARN IT. Finals next week----and Im more mad that I might not get cardio in today than the actual sickness.

I ran out of cottage cheese and decided to try some low carb peach yogurt I had in the fridge instead......mmmmmmmmmm :p

Mentally--Im "ok". That was actually the biggest problem. Physically i was fine. Im sure my body went through HELL and my health was probably on the rocks. BUT MENTALLY, the whole competition process is CRAZY>. Im coming back to normal, actually am better now that Im hitting the gym again. And off to new goals and more hard diet and training :)

You are about as addicted to those "pancakes" as I am :) The cottage cheese helps make them nice and fluffy huh?!?!?

Ok. WHat is going on ??? I have a runny nose, scratchy(not sore) throat, fever... and all these symptoms are on and off. Body aches... and on top of it the bf has the same shi*!!! Im downing some night quil and Im off to bed. I hope this (whatever it is) is GONE by tomorrow :worried:

1/2c egg beaters
.5 TBS honey, 2pcks splenda
1/2c crushed ice

*** I FEEL VERY SICK today... If I dont log back in today I promise an update by tomorrow. I HATE SET BACKS!!!!! UGHHHH IM ANGRYYYYY

WORST weekend EVER!! I just finally woke up feeling a little bit better. I have an upper respiratory infection and this syrup w. codeine is really doing its job. No pain anymore but Im so sleepy all the time.

Diet... well , the only thing I've been able to eat in the past 3 days is a few pieces of toast, LOTS of tea, and a few oranges. I have no appetite, no voice, and I feel horrible. Have I mentioned moving out and Finals this week?? Why does god hate me? NOT TO MENTION constant guilt for not hitting the gym. Thats all I can think about and Im so mad. I start a new log and get sick. This sucks. I have so much to study and I have no energy to.

I feel like Im complaining to much ... sorry I just need to VENT!!!

The bf is helping, making sure I have tea and am taking my syrup and antibiotics. :)

Im gonna go lay back down. I have 2 finals every day starting tomorrow. I need to rest!

I was thinking about the ladies of EF today and how much I miss everyone's logs. I cant say I feel better b/c I dont :worried:
I missed my first final today and I have 2 more tomorrow that I wont make. Im counting of Friday..I've got 4 tests to take that day. I've been in bed for what seems like days now ... at least I've showered (thanks to MH's help) but I feel very weak. The upper respiratory infection spread and now on top of that I've got pharyngitis and 2 more antibiotics to take. Oh boy, and the codeine is doing its job since all I seem to do is sleep. I dont even wanna think about packing and moving all my shi*. I will be home soon and hopefully better!!! I WANNA get this log going darn it!!! Got goals, cutting to do, leaning out to do!!!! And now who knows how much muscle I've sacrificed! Depressing as hell arent I? Cant seem to find a positive here!

*I wonder if this competition diet did something to my immune system? I got sick the week after...????

***I've managed to eat some... so here is a day for today (same yesterday)

4 boiled egg whites (one whole)--GROSS!!!

meal 2:
medium apple

I wouldn't blame it on the diet, but I bet being all stressed w/ the comp, finals, and moving certainly weakened your immune system. Just chill and get plenty of rest.
 
It feels so good to be back home again. School was so rough this semester, not even including getting sick for finals week!Tests were brutal and my grades wont be as good as last time. Worst luck in the world I've had. Anyway, Im feeling better already. I can move around now and keep chicken down without gagging :)

I dont know how much longer I have to stay "MIA" (lol) .

***Good news*** There is a NEW gym open RIGHT by my house. Im thinking like maybe a 5 min jog !!!! SCORE for the summer. Im set. I dont have a car here and its such a drag making a workout sched. around other ppls.

I need to rest for a while longer. Dont know how long. Ive already been set back soooo much. I dont wanna weigh my self yet but I will get the diet in check (at least) and Im also thinking about starting a whole new log. This one hasnt been working out to well for me. I steel feel like pure a$$ !!
At least I can shower by my self now and actually get up!!!!!

I have lots of things lined up this summer. First I have to get 110% BETTER and healthy again. GET A J-O-B!!!( no one wants to hire me for 3months :worried: ) I want to get leaner as soon as humanly possible. I also have a new bedroom to desing and decorate and Im so excited about that.

I gotta go now, Thanks to all of you for checking in on me. I should be 110% in no time. Got one week left on one antibiotic and 4 days on the other. No more codeine!!lol. That was a trip.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY all you hard working sexy MAMA'S!!!! I hope its a good one. Now I gotta go spend time w. my mommy :)

1tbs BBQ/hot sauce :p and IM STUFFED

8pm:
1TBS NPB
1TBS sf jelly
1 slice oat bran
1 small banana

11pm:
5oz. pork tenderloin
1c roasted red potato
1/2c green salad w. tomato, cucumber, feta
*Dinner at bf's sisters house

12:30:
1 large golden delicious apple

3:30pm:
1/2c red kidney beans
1/4c brown rice
1TBS BBQ/hot sauce
2c green salad
6oz. grilled chicken breast
1TBS xtra v olive oil

6:30pm:
2 slices ww bread
2TBS npb
2TBS sf jelly ---love these but I feel guilty eating them!

9:30pm:
1/2c cooked corn(fresh)
1/2c broccoli/green beans(fresh)
4oz. chicken breast +1 tsp hot sauce grilled w. mrs.dash

lol no work yet. They are waiting for my backround check.... I dont know how long that takes. I was told 2-3 days. The manager at the place wanted me to come in the next day but the big boss had other plans. Oh well, Im just happy I got one.

* I FINALLY figured out the whole gym thing. My sis will lend me some $$$ so I can finally get a membership. Its a brand new place right by my house and I was waiting to hear back from them in regards to freezing the account since I go back and borth between school and home. Ahhhh what a relief!! :p Im set for the summer :)

11am: 50min HIIT cardio (stair master is the ultimate butt blaster.. I could NOT walk out of the gym. I looked like I just you know what all night lol)

12:15pm:
7 egg whites
3/4c raw oats +splenda

2:30pm:
1/2c ff cottage cheese
3 slices pineapple

5pm:
1 TBS NPB
1 med. golden delicious apple
