Since people like to talk on the phone with other members, why pay for the long distance or the minutes or people who dont want to give out their phone number?
When you can add skype voice chat to vbulletin and integrate it. A FREE EF phone system

SkypeWeb integration will be a standard feature of the next release of vBulletin, but should you wish to gain SkypeWeb functionality on your vBulletin 3.5.3 board right away, you need simply to download the product XML file attached to this thread and install it through the product manager in your vBulletin Admin Control Panel.

Installing the next version of vBulletin when it is released will automatically remove this update product and replace it with SkypeWeb functionality from the default code and templates, so no further action will be required on your part.

Yes with skype integrated in EF, people can skype with other members easily.
There is skype voicemail too. Its just a software that allows to voicechat through the internet.

You can call cellphones and landlines too with it with skypeout, costs 10$ for 120 minutes.

And you can integrate with your existing landline phone and either use a gamer head set or a cordless phone




One cordless phone that will allow you to call like regular or call through skype for free.

The skype is also not able to be wiretapped either for those worried about the current controversy of wiretapping US citizens.

All of that would be in your profile page like it says send a private message or email to a member, well it can say contact them on skype.

Itd be pretty cool option and super easy for them to set up.

People would have to download skype but it takes a few seconds to setup from www.skype.com

Well, think of it man, people can reach you on skype and you dont have to worry about people calling you on your home phone or giving out your phone number so when BRR calls you, you dont freak out again lol

Skype is free, wouldnt cost George a wooden nickel, just add value to the site and save money for members who pay long distance to talk to people
