sister wants to use gear

depends how serious she is bout working out..
i see a bunch of stupid girls gettin all excited buying gym memberships and $1000 nike gymwear only to have that excitement wear off a few weeks later.
 
She has been working out for years. she just wants to see what she would look like and feel like at 120%, not a lifetime switch.

lol....I gonna give that a try...Gonna buy some new Nike, get a weightlifting belt, some cool workout wear and 50 amps of Sustanon 250. I gonna get HUGE. Won't have to hit the gym but maybe 1 or 2 times a week. Like everyone who dosen't lift says "he's only big because he uses steroids!" Kiss my ass! ;)

The first set of responses you would get on from the EF ladies board is going to be what is her current training & diet regimen and what specifically are her goals. The thing is that we get a lot of girls who start out w/ "My boyfriend said that winny will lean me out", and then they can't figure out why 50 mg of winny ED is making them break out, their voice starts to crack, their hair falls out and they are sick.

The "safe" place for her to start is w/ anavar. Start at like 5 mg for a few weeks, see how it goes, if she feels aggressive, can up it to 10 mg, and hold there. No reason to go higher. It may also depend on whatever brand she has. Some are more potent than others. Sides she can expect are probably mostly just acne and her period will probably be interrupted for a while until she goes off and an additional month or two while her body readjusts to the removal of the male hormone at higher concentrations in her system. Things like occassional nose bleeds are also possible. She really shouldn't experience any voice change or any of that w/ low doses. But again, caveat that each woman's response to and experience w/ any controlled substance is goign to be different to some degree.

Another point about one guy up here who said anavar & low doses of primo -- primo is another AAS that is favored by women who choose to cycle. The caveat usign this stuff is make sure that you know it is real because over the last few years it has been hard to get real stuff. I'm hearing more about primo tabs again, but not sure how easy they are to get. Otherwise, primo is an injectable so that brings in the needle. Var is a tab or cap and is probably the easy one to start the whole experience with. But the point I want to make here is that no one should start cycling wiht a stack of two or more substances when she has no experience w/ either one by itself. The point is to go low & slow so you can monitor your body's response to each substance. If you throw too much in, you don't know which is causing whatever sides, or might be that one is not doign anythign and the other is workign well for you. If that's the case, why even bother putting in the one tha isn't doing much? Its all about only putting your body under the minimum stress to get whatever is your goal. So no, your sister should not think about stacking anythign until she has experience with everythign that she is thinking of stacking. It doesnt' sound like that's where she needs to go anyway.

The above said, this all also requires that she is tight on her diet and doesn't drink or throw in other shit things that will stress her system more than the var already is. She should also take some good anti-oxidants and stuff to help protect her body while it is under the stress of taking this stuff. And training-wise, var will allow you to lift heavier and also recover faster - so lift like a mofo to get the most out of the cycle. Run it like 8-12 weeks - that is a typical cycle.

Now, all that being said, if she wants to put a controlled substance into her body, its great that you asked about it on the boards, but it is really on HER to do the research and understand what she is getting into. There's a huge amount of info all over the web and on this board that will help her make an informed decision. I will be really upset if I see her come back on here or you and she is all freaked out because her period stopped and she doesn't know why. That is a common side and anyone who spent 10 min reading about side effects of steroids for women or askign a few questions would know to anticipate that. So SHE needs to be doign the research and asking lots of questions before just diving in.

Again to reiterate the first part of my post -- what are her goals? My initial response is goign to be that unless she plans to compete, she can probably attain her goals through an optimized diet, cardio & training regime. Women can easily add 10 lb of lean muscle if they are doing it the right way. There's no quickie way to get results just by popping pills. And its just plain ignorant to throw soemthing down cuz it worked for your boyfriend or whatever. AAS is stressful stuff to put into a woman's body. The hormone balance is important and high test causes other side effects - some good, some bad. But its just sooo important to do eveythign optimally to get the most out of the cycle if u choose to do it & not be cavalier in how you treat your body.

You're leaving out the most important elements of becoming diesel, head bands.

That's true to some extent, I think you need to work up to that from the headband though. If you start there it leaves you no where to go. Then you can incorporate the baggy t's with a cut out neck.

I work out in a neon blue unitard with a cut up hypercolor tshirt over it, rainbow leg warmers, and aerobic reeboks with the velcro tops. I keep the tshirt cut up so I can show off my zodiac medalion mixed in with my wavey jet black chest hair to the ladies. :fro: You can't touch this.

A lot of excellent posts. Sassy did a good job summing things up. To answer her questions:

1. She wants to gain muscle mass (hypertrophy), not necessarily strength
2. Her diet has an excellent foundation.= good proteins CHO and FATS, no modification needed.
3. She has been training steady for a long time and splitting her routines so that she can always modify her F.I.T.T when needed.
4. Her goal is to take training to the next level
 
Ok, well subject to all my previous caveats, I'd say start w/ 5 mg ED of anavar. Make sure you know how dosed it is (i.e. under or over dosed, for ex papervar tends to be overdosed, some others tend to be over dosed.) YOu can usually tell that if she starts breaking out w/ acne right away. Any response should kick in w/in 1.5 -2 weeks.

Takign it -- best to get tabs instead of caps if u can. Gives you more ability to split them. Take whatever is your daily total dose & split it between am & pm - var has about an 8 hr 1/2 life -- keeps the body's response to it even as opposed to a big fat spike one time / day.

Run that for like 2-3 weeks, see how it goes along w diet & training. Should notice stronger lifts, faster recovery. Possibly some acne. THen up it to 10 mg. Same thing - split the dose & run it for a couple weeks & see how that goes. Really no reason to go above that. Run the total cycle for say 12 weeks. She can expect to lose her menstrual cycle within that 1st month & it will either be sporadic or gone for the duration + probably 1-2 month after. A note about birth control -- there is no interaction betweem it & AAS but the two hormones will tend to be trying to do opposite things. Birth control , controlled doses of estrogen & progesterone, will want to encourage estrogen-pattern fat depositing while AAS will want to encourage leaning out. That's why most competitors stop takign b/c while they are cycling. It just gets in the way of trying to really cut up for a show. But even if she decides to stay on (if she's on it), just expect that her menstrual cycle will be interrupted & shoudl probably fall back on to a back up method of birth control (i.e. condoms) for that period fo time.

Creatine tends to work synergystically w/ var - she might be interested in trying soemthign like AF Store's PureCEE along w/ it. I'd also suggest running w/ some good anti-oxidants to help keep the work the body has to do to shuttle out waste like free-radicals to a minimum. No drinking during the cycle, clean diet, train like a mofo & sleep well!

That would be my recommendation if she chooses to go that route. And have her go do her own research on var. There's lots of stuff on the internet. Each girl's response is different - could be acne, bloody nose, no menstrual cycle, etc. Var is fairly reliable but each person is different. (Assuming you know your source...)
 
dont let her get trapped. I know women that are running 2-3 grams a week. 1st. their mes.cycles stop, acne all over body, tits dispear, than implants follow, clit. enlarges 3-4 inches in length, voice turns to baritone, and the sides go on.
 
LOL, it does happen. Seriously - give this info as a place to start & have her start searching the internet for her own research. The best thing she can do for herself is take ownership of this little adventure if that's where she wants to go. Its her body, her results, her sides.
