In this thread, we discuss all things metal.

I used to have a Cynic shirt like, a decade ago. I actually got it at Spencer's, lol. I wish I kept it, I've seen it go on Ebay for over $100.

I still have an old-ass Hypocrisy shirt with only red and white print... has Jesus bloodied up in a pentagram, and I've NEVER seen or even heard anything about this shirt, ever. I bet if it was still in decent condition, it'd be worth a fortune. We used to really want those Isengard shirts, too, but I think they were reissued identically the same, thus ruining thier prestige value.

The only shirt I could never find was a Draconian Times shirt from Paradise Lost. That album was godly.

Anyone pick up the Slaughter of the Soul reissue yet?

:cow:

Yeah, I gotta pick that up. I need to double check, but I think I saw a new live Testament disc available. There were some other discs I have saved on my wish list at CDUniverse.

I had Slaughter of the Soul a few years ago, when the only melodeath I had really known was In Flames' Clayman or something. I hated SOTS and got rid of it.

Christ I hate myself.

Ugg, Clayman sucked. They peaked with Jester, Whoracle was okay, but after that they lost me.

i have the original slaughter of the soul. really good. any specific metal albums on the way this year people are lookin forward to? for me id have to say misery signals, bleeding through, inflames, tool. i wanna pick up that parkway drive band too "killing with a smile."

Jester Race was so good. Whoracle was decent. Colony was okay.

Then came the age of Nu Flames. I'm sure they're going to fit right in with Ferret.

Okay, I hear lotsa people talking about Meshugga, what's up with them? They hit the mainstream? I've seen their CD's at Best Buy.

Last I remember from Meshugga was their early Relapse Records days, like the Corporate Death comp or something... either way, I'm guessing they have changed drastically to be differentiated from bands like Ressurection and Benediction nowadays. I wasn't fond of their style back then, so I kinda disregarded them.
