signs of an infection

What are some of the signs of an infection? My shoulder is swollen very painful and warm to touch should I go to the hospital or wait a couple of days?

If the pain gets worse but the swelling doesn't by tomorrow you should be OK.
The chances are, because it's hard, you ruptured a vein by putting the oil in too close to it and bursting it with the oil pressure.
This usually gets more painful over 72 hours and then drops off. If your swelling gets worse then it may be infected. But that usually takes longer than it did for you to get started. If you have antibiotics start taking them. It can't hurt.

A tale tale sign of an infection is a fever or a rise in body temp. If you take antibiotics make sure you have enough to take them twice a day for seven days. Anything under this could cause more problems.

I had the same problem a week ago. The swelling stopped after 2day's but the pain took like 4 day's to stop. I just got some antibiotics from the doc and he said to put warm compresses on it a couple times a day. It seems to be working, you might want to try that. Good luck.

infection= itching on injection site, redness, swelling. the itching is the best way to tell if it is a infection or if you popped a vein.

Probably just irritation to the gear, run some hot water on the injection site when you get in the showe helps the oil to disipate more quickly anyway listen to the other guys good advise.....

Just a thought, but if you have insurance you could go to the doc. Just tell them you did a b12 shot. I did that when i had an infection and I doubt the doc bought my story, but I was treated and glad for it. If you can notice that is it hot to the touch, or noticeably warmer, I'd recommend seeing a doc, better safe than sorry. Oh I did what you did, guessing for about 5 days or so and then I sucked it up and stuck a pin in my delt and drew back to see some pus in the syringe, went right to the ER from there.

day 4 - still very painful, redness has left the injection site but still exists in almost entire bicept area, swelling has went down slightly... I think Its actually getting a little bit better

Bro I had the same symptoms in my quad, The heat, redness, and swelling. I just knew it was an infection and was worried about it becoming an abcess. It moved from my quad to knee. It swoll up and was sore as hell. I was planning on seeing my doc but it finally cleared up on day 6. I would watch for a fever or if it starts getting worse with the swelling. You should be fine. Just keep a close eye. I still don't know what caused it. Maybe dirty gear(QV Test) or too much at one time and my body didn't like it. I believe you said you only did 1 cc though. Anyway, hang in there, you'll be fine bro.

The pain should be subsiding by tomorrow. Are you taking antibiotics?

not taking antibiotics its getting better on its own, the shitiest part of all of this is that I just started my cycle and I haven't been able to work out.... I think my biggest problem was doing straight supertest (450mg/ml) by itself without diluting it, I have since done another shot this time 1/2 cc of supertest with 1cc EQ & 1cc of tren enanthate, no irratation this time. Lesson learned

just got some bloodwork back and my white blood cell count was high, could this be due to my shoulder?

Agreed. Cyp esters, and some prop esters, do this to me. When i was 1st staring off I thought I had an abcess, but some people just dont react well to certain substances.
