Good card trick through the phone.

You need to have a friend who will perform this flawlessly with you to work, So don`t choose a bro that will fuck it up.

Here`s the scenario, You`re with a bunch of people and tell them you know a "WIZARD" that can tell what card you are holding in your hand from a deck of cards. You have someone in the room pick a card from the deck, Then CALL the "wizard" (your buddy) on the phone. Ask the wizard if he has time to talk to your friend that picked the card and then hand the phone to the guy holding the card.

The wizard will go on to ask the card holder a series of questions to try to determine if he can read his mind and figure out the card. etc etc.

Finally the wizard tells him the card number AND suite (sp) Of course everyone in the room will be amazed and you will be the man for the remaining 12 minutes.

Oh the suspense is killng me!

I remember that trick, but I can’t remember how to do it. It’s in the book Scarne on Cards, isn’t it?

Here it is. Now your buddy has to remember that ANY time you call him and ask If the wizard is available, He has to get in the mode of doing the trick. This way you can do it wherever/ whenever.

When he answers the phone, Dpending on what card the guy with you picks from the deck ...If it`s 6 of Hearts, You say to the wizard "Hello Wizard" When he first answers. Now he knows it`s a HEART by the word "Hello".

If it`s Clubs, You say "Can the wizard speak with me?" ands so on.

So he`ll know the suite as soon as he hears the first word from your mouth. AS SOON AS you start talking, He will start counting, "one, two, three, four, five, six... Then you say "YES" wizard (on six) he is here and ready to play" etc etc...

So he knew it was the six of hearts without anyone realizing what happened.

That's pretty clever.

I stronly advise you practice with a buddy before trying it for the first time though.

While we`re at it. You can have different codes for the cards. Like odd or even cards. So he can just go "two, four, six..." or picture cards. Or whatever you come up with. Even the greeting for the suite can be a different code.

If done right. It works great.
