Results from One Month on Accutane

Just thought Id share the results im getting so far from Accutane, as I know that theres a lot of you out there that wanna know about this miracle in a pill.

Ive been on it for one month now, started at 20mg ED for week 1, 30mg ED for week 2 and now am currently taking 40mg ED. This will be my max dose for a while until my upcoming cycle. I plan on taking it for 5 months. I am going to take the dose down to 20mg ED soon.

I didnt begin with really horrible acne at all, I just began getting some cystic acne on my neck and Ive always had a few zits on my face. After my last cycle my back broke out like a mofo and even after finishing up the correct PCT they still kept coming. I figured Accutane was necessary. I researched it for about 3 months before even deciding to try it. I have tried every OTC product you can imagine and all the BS washing regimends and whatnot, none of that shit has worked.

Results after one month:

Acne is fucking gone, havent had a new zit at all for the past 3 weeks, and my back is almost completely clear. Some cystic acne still remains on the lower part of my neck, but no new ones have formed, these usually take about a good month once they surface to go away anyway.

Side effects:

Slightly dry lips, keep em covered with lip balm and no problems arise. Make sure at night while you sleep they are kept covered. I woke up the other day and my lower lip had a slight slit in it and it fuckin hurt. Its all good now though.

Skin is a little drier than before especially on my face, if I dont use moisturizer after washing my face its is unbearable, feels like someone is stretching your skin. Without lip balm it feels like someones stretching your lips out bigtime.

Vision is a little blurry sometimes especially when i am trying to read something, such as this thread. It almost seems like my eyes are producing more water than normal, which is causing the blurriness. Almost like i am shedding small tears constantly. This is the most ntolerable side so far.

All in all I am extremely happy wth my results so far and would highly recommend giving it a try. Those of you that have just a couple of zits every now and then, this aint for you. But if you are having trouble while on cycle with outbreaks on your chest shoulders or back, or have always had bad or cystic acne, I think it might be your answer.

I am about to begin a cycle consisting of Sust/EQ/Tren/Winny and will continue to take a low dose during this cycle. If my acne comes back from it at all I will post the results. Praying to god it keeps working!

P.S Cant begin to tell you guys how nice it is not to have to worry about washing my face all the freakin time. Its recommended to wash much less often while taking accutane, and the shit still works.

So keep some good lotion and some lip balm around and its all good with Accutane in my book. But as you all know results will differ from person to person. Good luck with it

Do u get it worse before it gets better ..? that what i heard

Its said that 1 in 5 or something like that, will get worse in the first 7-10 days, but mine started getting better right off the bat. I was amazed at how fast things were clearing up. My back acne was so bad at one point that I couldnt sit back in a chair at times, they were some big ass nasty mofo's. But like I said one month and i would say that 95% are completely gone, and havent gotten any new ones at all.

I got on it in college for a brief stint, and i was amazed at how fast the stuff actually worked. It dried me so fast it kinda caught me off guard to be honest.

The shits amazing for killing acne thats for sure. And like you said Lip Balm is a MUST.

Accutane is the "KING" of all acne meds.

Glad it is working out for ya man. Acne can get ugly when you least expect it at times.

I talked to my school Dr. about accutane and he said he wont perscribe it to me and just wrote me a prescription for some other crap that never works. He told me to see a dermatologist, is that what you did? Ive had pretty moderae to bad acne since I was 15 now Im 22.

Ya for what really matters - what were your liver values ? You can't donate blood for a year after taking accutane... its serious shit...
