some thoughts:
1. youngguns is great at being a douchejockey, but not entirely bad. or maybe just alter trash. either or, don't know, don't care. he may have even made some valid points somewhere along the course of this rambling wreck, although not especially important or useful (hence why he'll come across as argumentative). if his pics are real, he looks solid enough for a 19-yo (i'm 30 and ~150, so what the f). he's a silly teen and acts it, but y'all might as well let it go...not worth your time.
2. bbing and mma are two vastly different disciplines. here, the primary difference is that bbing is essentially visual in nature. so when a dude, interested in bbing, posts his pics and looks for feedback...people can understand his goals and see from his pics where's at in relation to those goals (i.e. mass, symmetry, bf%, vascularity, blah, blah...). fighting, however, is obviously different. dude might be an asskicker...he may have the build and muscular strength he needs to fight well. yet, he may not look impressive. however, when he posts his pics on the internet...no one can tell by looking at those pics that he's in the shape he needs to be...as a fighter. so the feedback he's asking for, and gets, based on those pics, is of dubious value. in other words...i don't quite see the practical value of this thread to him, as a fighter. maybe he just wanted an opinion based on aesthetics alone, but that's more of a bbing thing...and so he'll get feedback based on different criteria. it makes little sense to refute that feedback on the basis of his needs as a martial artist, given the purely-visual context here.
3. the OP said he had to lose mass to improve his conditioning...implying he was more muscular at some point in the past. if he has pics of himself at a bigger size, they may prove interesting. put 'em up.
4. there's a difference between giving honest feedback and being insulting or unkind. you don't have to pussyfoot or hold back in order to give a fully honest opinion.
5. i'm captain obvious and i talk too much. but it's nice to sit in an office on wall st, with a view of the east river and brooklyn beyond, while posting up on a juicer forum. cheers.
