Your back looks nice and gnarled....you've really slapped on noticeable slabs of muscle.

I'm the same way, lol, I went to Hershey Park last year and walked around in the sun all day and I seriously think it cost me 5lbs.

Hell yea, i honestly was 193 i could swear. I weighed in at 183 yesterday...
BUT today is the day of truth, if i can hit my new PR then i dont care about the weight.

Also have a Meet i believe in OCT 17. Gotta send in my $$ now...

Thats SGT! They are getting real big i can tell. ALOT more pants are getting tighter. I can only imagine the size after the winter :evil: lol

LOG UPDATE FROM YESTERDAYS' WORKOUT!


Only came in to DO Abs. Actually did a new routine. Feels really good!


The 2 PLs that i know were there, this older guy rob (40's) and my boy (19-20) were there doing some band work squats. I asked them what they do for CORE work. And this is what they told me they did the day before...

Station 1
Sat on the Bench w/ Bar in sqaut possition. With Bar on my back like a squat and my feet hooked in so i can get leverage.
Proceeded to do a slow situp and raise back up
4 sets of 10 Reps.

Station 2
Sat on Incline Bench w/ RubberBand (thick Blue band) and held onto band in front of face. Then bent over side to side to hit the obliques.
4 sets of 10 each side

Station 3
Ab Roller
4 sets of 10

Station 4
Hung Rubberbands from the top of the CAGE. Single Looped...
Put my forearm in the band and did side bends
4 sets of 10 each side.

Station 5
Needsize Ab workout
25lb plate 'standing' on upper chest.
10 slow reps w/ 5s hold on bottom @ 4 sets

Station 6
Sitting on Flat bench and got barbell in front rack possition.
With 135lbs i proceeded to do a little more then a half rep.

Always seen the BIG PL's doing this so i wanted to try it out. And loved it.

I HAD MINIMUM REST BETWEEN SETS. THATS WHY I CALLED THEM STATIONS BECAUSE I WAS JUMPING BACK AND FORTH.


Notes: :evil:
1. The Sitting Sqaut/Situp was amazing. Felt very difficult. And can easily be adjusted for more weight!
2. I really liked the situps w/ the bar racked in the front sqaut possiton. Wasnt too hard on the lower back since they were semi full ROM.
3. I also want to recommend the side bends i did. I never really work my obliques and that excercise was rather easy to do/setup.
4. Anyone can do these even tho they sound hard. I had my GF doing them and she really liked how they felt hard, but also was easy to do.

Food intake Yesterday:


Remmeber i did sleep alot yesterday so intake prob isnt THAT high. But its ok, it was a 'off' day. i eat bigger on training days...

Breakfast
Chocolate Protein Pancakes (5)
2 Eggs

Lunch

1 tbs flax
Protein Shake

Lunch 2
Post Workout Shake in h20

Meal 4

3 Little steak (wrapped in Flax Tortilla + Honey dijon mustard)
3 mini corn on the cops w/ McMolly McButter 0 cal butter spray

Meal 5
Protein Shake w/ ANPB

See, intake wasnt too high, but i hit maintance for the day. Feels good to be on track...
 
Nice core work bro... That's awesome you've got a meet Goal to work towards now!!

You're quads blew up obviously... i notice my glutes being the first to really get stimulated and grow first. NO, i don't want to see yours, lol... just wondering if you felt they both came up at the same time or more quads than glutes?

Hey SGT.

Actually MY GF notices my GLUTES MORE. When i was skinny i had no ASS. No my chick loves it She can tell they equally balanced out. So SGT, YES my glutes blew up too..
 
Yesterday was an amazing Gym day...

Went for maxes So i can fine tune my 5x5 program...

Sqaut: 405x1 RAW Broke Parallel
Bench: 275x1 RAW
Row: 155x5

I loaed 350 on the sqaut and blasted it and was like whoa, am i going deep enough? when they told me i was going deeper then parrelel i was like damn i gotta see what i can do till i pass out lol

Well i got 405 on the bar and battled it on the way up, but you know what, it went up w/o a spotter RAW no suit and no shoes lol

Ill post the entire workout on monday, im just so happy about the 405 sqaut RAW.

Im keeping my deadlift #'s because i didnt get 435x5 i only hit it 4 times, so i know my deadlift # is still good.
