LOG UPDATE FROM YESTERDAYS' WORKOUT!
Only came in to DO Abs. Actually did a new routine. Feels really good!
The 2 PLs that i know were there, this older guy rob (40's) and my boy (19-20) were there doing some band work squats. I asked them what they do for CORE work. And this is what they told me they did the day before...
Station 1
Sat on the Bench w/ Bar in sqaut possition. With Bar on my back like a squat and my feet hooked in so i can get leverage.
Proceeded to do a slow situp and raise back up
4 sets of 10 Reps.
Station 2
Sat on Incline Bench w/ RubberBand (thick Blue band) and held onto band in front of face. Then bent over side to side to hit the obliques.
4 sets of 10 each side
Station 3
Ab Roller
4 sets of 10
Station 4
Hung Rubberbands from the top of the CAGE. Single Looped...
Put my forearm in the band and did side bends
4 sets of 10 each side.
Station 5
Needsize Ab workout
25lb plate 'standing' on upper chest.
10 slow reps w/ 5s hold on bottom @ 4 sets
Station 6
Sitting on Flat bench and got barbell in front rack possition.
With 135lbs i proceeded to do a little more then a half rep.
Always seen the BIG PL's doing this so i wanted to try it out. And loved it.
I HAD MINIMUM REST BETWEEN SETS. THATS WHY I CALLED THEM STATIONS BECAUSE I WAS JUMPING BACK AND FORTH.
Notes:
1. The Sitting Sqaut/Situp was amazing. Felt very difficult. And can easily be adjusted for more weight!
2. I really liked the situps w/ the bar racked in the front sqaut possiton. Wasnt too hard on the lower back since they were semi full ROM.
3. I also want to recommend the side bends i did. I never really work my obliques and that excercise was rather easy to do/setup.
4. Anyone can do these even tho they sound hard. I had my GF doing them and she really liked how they felt hard, but also was easy to do.
Food intake Yesterday:
Remmeber i did sleep alot yesterday so intake prob isnt THAT high. But its ok, it was a 'off' day. i eat bigger on training days...

See, intake wasnt too high, but i hit maintance for the day. Feels good to be on track...
