Lol
Well now I'm definitely doing this
Just got called into director's office... There were 3 top dogs there
Got told my last day is 12/30, being "dismissed"
I feel like I am in grade school and my boyfriend is breaking up with me because I broke up with him
This makes no sense other than that it looks shitty for me
WTF is going on here? I have honestly done nothing wrong here. I mean, I've been a little apathetic lately but I'd say about average relative to my peers.
Did I just get fired? I thought we had already agreed on that date but the head boss acted like I had never spoken to her about it. And have you ever heard of a company firing someone but making them stay for 3 more weeks?
You might ask why I'm staying... I'm holding onto hope it will help me get another job (denial?)
This is insane
If they let you go without cause, you'll get UE. Just don't give them a cause to fire you.
Now if you resign... you won't get UE.
And now for the fun part. First, be careful because some of the more sophisticated computer systems have audit trails. If you work with one of these systems, then make sure you're logged into someone else's account. Second, don't make all the changes in one day. You've got three weeks to pull this off.
1) Get into the purchasing system, and change the units of measure downward. Change 100's to 10. Change 50's to 5. Imagine how excited they'll be when 10 months worth of stuff arrives at once.
2) Get into the order system, and swap the bill-to and ship-to addresses. Just don't swap out a P.O. box, as that can set off red flags. If you're successful, they invoices will be sent to a warehouse somewhere and the goods themselves will be sent to the corporate office.
3) Get into the either the purchasing or order system, and change prices by miniscule amounts. So a $5.50 item gets changed to $5.25. It's not large enough to set-off alarms, but it's large enough to cause invoice discrepancies on every order.
And remember. Just have fun with it!
