this is the most honest and respectable post on the entire issue. and its fair enough. but you realize EVERYONE else, thinks he should be locked away because hes a cold hearted animal torturer who will go on killing sprees and ruin society...all while they do drugs that promote gang violence and fuck up families and lives?

they are basically acting like overemotional illogical women.

I won't bomb you b/c I'm not an 8th grade girl and you are entitled to your opinion and I see where you are coming from but you have to realize gang bangers that are pushing drugs are being arrested, why don't you hear about them? Because they don't have 130 million dollar contracts with a professional football team. Paris Hilton was put in prison for driving on a suspended license, why? Because of her social status. You look at people that are plastered on the news and of course they get more serious punishments. Vick did the crime and lied about it, thus destroying what little credibility he had left. Research shows serial killers start by torturing animals first. Should we slap him on the wrist with a fine, like money means shit to him?

i am emotional about the vick case and can not be objective but as far as the "illegal drug trade", well thats a different story. we do not have a drug problem. we have a drug PROHIBITION problem. legalize drugs and most of the crime goes away.....no black market.

then as for the emotional side of things:

what about the poor cows who are hooked up to machines for years unable to move so we can have some yummy milk?

what about boxers, or UFC fighters?

what about animals that fight in nature?

if dairy cows are not milked they die.. which is more cruel, supplying life or forcing death?

boxers and UFC fighters do not fight to the death and it's not unvoluntary actions, both are consenting, trained adults.

Animals that fight in nature is exactly that, nature.. They do it to survive.. These dogs on Vick's "farm" were not given a choice, they were killed if they did not chase, domesticated dogs have been domesticated for humans to adhere to their needs, hence the laws that protect domesticated animals.
