I know what your going to say dont eat them at all but, if you fry them lightly in peanut oil are they better than other kinds of oil say like vegetable oil???
sure, peanut oil would be a little better. or olive oil. just don't get carried away. I usually brush the skin of potatoes with olive oil before I bake them. it's cool.
Baking them is a great idea. I lean the skin on, and spray them with some Pam cooking spray, and sometimes add some seasoning mix. Taste very good and compliments just about any meal. Taste like regular fries when ketchup is added.
