I mixed up my 5,000iu bottle up with 5cc of bac water. I have 50unit insulin needles so if I'm dosing at 500iu a week that's the 25 mark on the syringe twice a week?

each CC is 1000 IU's the way you did it.

so .25 CC's is 250 IU's

Depends on how many CC or ML your pins are.

That would be .50 on the syringe.

Even if you are using a 1cc or a .5cc insulin syringe - it will still be at the .50 mark.

The only difference is the 1cc syringe will go to 100 units - and .50 would be at the half way mark.

And the .5cc syringe will go to 50 unites and will use the whole syringe of units.

This is how I dose mine - 500iu's twice a week.
