Hi all,

Has anyone suffered hamstring strain - at the lower end behind the knee. What kind of rehab would you suggest for the hamstring. I'm stretching it out - which does help but I also think my back may be pulling on the hamstring it's really tight, so I also need some good stretches for my lower back. I've also started doing single lying leg curls to strengthen the hammy and also lower back work too. In all I need help so if you can help I'd be grateful.

I recommend stretching and using heat pads after workouts. If you're about to do deadlifts, leg curls or anything else that involves your hamstrings, take special care to warm them up. Stationary bikes work the legs rather well. If you want to warm up your lower back, do back extensions. Do them slowly.
