That book is rediculous, I skimmed through it at barnes and noble. it is supposedly scientifically backed up, blah blah blah

example chest workout from the book:
"scientific efficiency of chest exercises":
flye's 60%
dips 50%
incline DB press 60%
etc. etc. oh yeah Bench press chest efficiency 90% aaaaaaaahaaaaahaaa ha ha ha
sample chest workout:
10 sets of flat bench that's it...

It is the biggest waste of paper and ink I've have ever layed eys on. read threads regarding workout routines for advice.

So if you have the book why not answer the guys questions? The part I saw about chest training said all exercises were a waste of time, do 10 sets of bench only!

It must be the wrong book dude.

Day1
Deadlifts 2 X 20
Bench Press 2 X 20
Chins 2 X 20
Leg Press 2 X 20
Leg Press Caf raise 2 X 20

Day 2
Military Press 2 X 20
Shrugs 2 X 20
Close geip press 2 X 20
Preacher curls 2 X 20
Ab Crunch 2 X 20

All sets are done in partiel movements, 2-4 inches. You need 20 reps to keep time under tension to be about 50 seconds or so. If you did full range you will only need 8 reps. But with partiels you use more weight for the same time under tension. More weight + same reps =More force per sec.

I actually tried this about 6 years ago... I remember that my lifts increased on the partial movements quite a bit but I really don't remember how well my full range lifts went so it must not of been real good. They stressed that you should work the strongest range of the muscle therby overloading it and forcing the weaker part of the muscle to get stronger also. Let me know if you do it and if it works
