Back in April around the 22 there was a bench contest I entered, about 4 weeks prior to this contest while I was preparing I hooked up 145lbs to a regular lifting belt because our gym had just ordered a dip belt and I figured oh well this will do for now.
So anyways one day I was doing dips and when I was done I had a slight pain in my lower back, and it never quite went away. Right around the time of the contest I was hired at a new job and along with the physical came x-rays,,, well the docter looked kind of funny at them and asked if I had ever been in a car accident and I said no and asked him why and he said it was nothing,,, so I then asked him if it was my lower back and he then explained yes it was and that I have a fractured vertibray{sp} but it should be nothing to worry about.
Well lately I've been haveing extreme trouble doing much leg training at all since a lot of legs movements put pressure on your lower back, I've been getting extreme pain while trying squats, hack squats. The only thing I've really been able to do is leg extensions and this old universal machine that they have but that also gives me some pain not as much though.
I'm going to see another doctor on the 14th to see if theres anything that can be done or if this is going to be a problem.
Do any of you have any suggestions or opions on my dillema.

The doctor already gave you the reason for the pain. Squats are out for now if not forever. leg press is a back supported exercise that you may be able to replace the squat with.
Take it from someone who knows don't play around with your back. The x-rays show an injury...don't try to work through it you will only increase the damage. You may want to consult a good/well known sports doctor that can outline the does and don't of your injury...Good Luck
