if so how would you incorperate that into your regular weight lifting routine. I was thinking about doing it the days i didnt lift, but i am not sure if that would mess up my recoupe time.

Ya it would hinder you,but that depends how hard and long you go.I used to box and my arms suffered on arm as well as shoulders when I benched. You would have to adjust your routine to incorperate it in.

you train on the bag in rounds, start out doin say 3 to 5 2 minute rounds. working your way up to 3 minute rounds. dont try to knock the bag out for the whole round, just take it easy, work on technique, and about every 20 seconds or so throw some heavy blows. by the way it helps if you wear regular boxing gloves insead of bag gloves, especially if you are a hard hitter, i cant hit the bag hard at all unless i have boxing gloves on.. hope this helps.

I like it after exercise a couple days a week for around 15 min on and off, alternating with sauna for rest periods. Nice finish to my gruelling workout.
