DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE FORMULA FOR THE OLD PYRAMID TYPEBENCH PRESS WE USED TO DO WHEN WE WERE IN HIGH SCHOOL? 5-4-3-2-1-12BURNOUT. I KNOW IT'S A PRECENTAGE OF YOUR I REP MAX BUT DON'T KNOW THE %'S, ANY HELP WOULD BE APPERCIATED. THANKS

Im pretty sure it goes like this
Full Pyramid reps=12,10,8,7,6,5,6,7,8,10,12
Half pyramid= 12,10,8,7,6,5,12-20

Im pretty sure the 5 rep lift is using 60% of your max and 70% if you can do it 5 times

i watch some guys do tht stuff every freaking time they do chest..and it pisses me of...45 minutes on the bench, what the fuck is that? i agree it might be good once in a while..but thats just rediciolous. but i guess they are special since they do the same for squats...over 1 hour, using the squat rack.then some hamstring curls and leg extensins and thee training is over.

hey mr. muscles thanks for the input helped me out a great deal! i know not ever one is as dedicated as the great mr. muscles and should be shot for that, but i was helping out a young friend with the info and i don't think he should get right into that intense work out that you probaly do, but hey! thanks any way oh great one.
