I read in a muscle mag today an article by Lee Preist saying that he trains his forearms by doing 4-5 sets of like 25 reps using heavy weight,,,he also goes on bla bla bla talking about how most bodybuilders walk around with small forearms because they don't know how to train them because you have to do these killer sets of 25 with heavy weights in order to get results. Is this why my forearms do not want to grow,,, or is this just a case of some good anabolics. And if it is just a case of good anabolics than what can I do to help my forearms?

A lot of forearm development is a genetic thing, but you can't neglect them.I find that 1 hard set of hammer curls to finish my bicep workout does the trick.Curl them till you can't move them any more and just keep gripping them untill they literally fall out of your hands. This is simple but very effective and you need to be mentally tough. Also throw away any straps you may use, your grip will stenghten up and your forearms will get a lot of indirect work.

Lee Prist is a freak of nature, but the training he does is damn hard as well, and he does have the best forearms in the sport.

i would advice you to do your forearms workout on back days, not arm days as people most do. some hammer curls on your bicep day is good. but do wrist curls and rev. wrist curls at the end of your back workout...u ight wanna change it around a bit..superseting one day, doing it with dumbells one day..and so on.

Gotta give it to ya there Gowzer. You came straight out and told it as blunt as possible without sugar coating it at all.
