alright, i've been bodybuilding for very little time and i've become addicted to it, but an injury has slowed me down for almost 2 weeks and health sickness has stopped me dead in my tracks for about a week.
should i keep training under the pain, or stop completely until the pain and sickness completely goes away???

I would suggest that you take a break and get yourself straighten out first. Once healed and over your sickness start back but progress slowly as to not reinjure yourself again.

This may be the signs of overtraining. You shouldn't train intensely all year long. I usually take a week or two off after I complete my cycle. Levrone took a month or two off after the Mr. Olympia. Taking a break is good for the body and mind. It isn't good to put your body through a lot of stress over long periods of time.

Stop training and do whatever you have to to get better. Then when you go back to training start off at where you were two weeks before you got sick. I do that and it makes me ease into it and gives me a challenge at the same time. Whatever you do don't lift while sick or injured. I played a game with cracked ribs. Bad mistake. I got buttended where they were cracked and fucked them up some more. Thank God that nothing serious happened as a result.

Illness is enough stress on your system. Training will only compound the problem.
