Has anyone ever used magnet therapy to heal a muscle tear or injury? I have serious shoulder pain and it won't go away. I've been seeing doctors but they haven't helped much. Just wondering if this new magnet craze is for real.

I ain't got a clue bout those magnet things and what makes them work. Maybe its just to make people think its working. Ya know a mental thing. Like those tests where they give some people sugar cubes and others the real stuff. Who knows?

Magnets are shit. All kinds of tests have come back negitive."Boston Medical Journal" They could work but it would have to be one extra huge magnet. Most people get more help from the support the magnets are in.

I know a few people that swear by them. Apparently it has something to do with the blood being polarized and the magnets excite the blood cells which causes them to move about quicker, in a more excited state. This excited stats suppossedly helps repair muscle soreness. David Cone uses a magnet shoulder harness between innings.(He's record is like 1-6, so maybe they don't help.)

Could it just be that David Cone is in a slump or that he sucks this year? And that he could be alot worse off if he didn't use the magnet?
