ok i've been reading a lot of posts about doing reps to failure so i was wondering what's the benefit of doing reps to failure instead of doing a set number of reps?
let's say i'm doing squats a heavy weight and trying to build mass, would it help build more mass by doing as many reps as i possible can each set, or would it be better to do reps in the 6-8 range?
now would doing reps to failure be good for me, i'm 15, because i've heard a lot of people saying that when you're younger you really shouldn't do reps to failure.
thanks
