The classic: High Volume
6 days on 1 off.
Monday/Thursday= chest/back
Tuesday/Friday= Legs
Wednesday/Saturady= Delts/Arms


The New Breed: Low Volume
5 Days on 2 off
Monday= Chest
Tuesday= Back
Wednesday= Delts
Thursday= Arms
Friday= Legs

Which do you guys prefer?
It seems like all these monsters train so infrequently because it is said all the drugs make up for it.
The old timers trained harder and longer with no or minimal drugs because they had to if they wanted to gain.
Any thoughts from accomplished BB's and not a newbie who read an article by Mike Metzer.

well i guess we have all heard the stuff about pros not needing to train much because of all the drugs, but i think that is horseshit. if yu wanna grow, u have to train.

I prefer the Yates split. 2 days on, 1 day of..continually. But ive done them all. no days of, 1 day of, weekend of. and the 2-1 is the best one so far i have to say.

as to the splits, i prefer the last one you posted. the first one i just cant go thru with..chest and back on the same day? no way, maybe if you ARE on drugs yo have the energy for it. but i know that i wouldnt have gotten past the first back exercise before id pass out.

off

yeah thats the one.
ive just change the musclegrops around..doesnt he train rear delts on back day? i think he does.
