I'm looking to put some more meat on my bones and I'm not sure if I'm going about it the right way. I usually buy FLEX and muscle and Fitness then I found the HIT or cyberpump site which says the the muscle mags get you to overtrain or something like that. I was just wondering what type of training is really going to work best in the long run. I have made a lot of progress training according to what I read in these mags. Well thanks for the help.

i wish there was a simple answere to this question, but unfortunately, there isnt. What works best for me, does not have to work at all for you. Its all about finding out how TOUR body reacts to the diffrent training approaches.

Thats why i'd advice you to read as much as possible, get tons of info. and then, try them out one after one, and, finally, you WILL find the one the works best for you.

Thats why bodybuilding is a long term sport, nothing comes for free.

WHat i can tell you, is this. do not go directly on to a wrkout program designed by and for a professional bodybuilder. start at the bottom, with a beginner program. wich, usually is a full body workout 3 times a week. then grdually go over to differnt bodysplits, the ones that suits you bet. dont be afraid to experiment, but listen carefully to your body.

Diet is also a key factor. you wont get big, without the proper nutrition. but again, dont try to eat the same as a professional. in addition to his wast knowledge and long experiences, im sad to say, his drug usage makes his body all to different from yours, and makes him eat a great more than you.

just be patient, and you will grow.

Peace

Thanks for the help. I've been at it for about a year now. I've had a personal trainer even. I've read a lot into it an all, it just gets confusing when you hear so many different approches. I have made a lot of progress in the last year, so I hope to keep doing that. Thanks for the help, sounds like I was on the right track.

Day one: chest, biceps
Day two: quads, abs, calves
Day three: triceps, back
Day four: rest
Day five: shoulders, hamstrings, lower back
Day six: rest
Day seven: rest

You should add some cardio in there. Got to work that heart man cause if you don't, you won't be able to show off that muscle when your 6 feet under due to heart problems caused by having a weak heart.

I also do a lot of cardio. I just didn't put in in there. I usually try to do a half an hour every day. I also play tennis somethimes or basketball. I even take time to drink a 40 oz. or two lol.
