I recently fucked my ankle up bad, and am on cruches, I'm pretty much a vegetable. Anyways i was wondering if i lift while my ankle is still injured will it slow the recovery of my ankle?, slow the recovery of worked muscles? am i sacrificing one for the other? please help me out, i really want my ankle to heal.

I'm not flaming or anything but don't take the advice from people on here, ur better off to go to the doctor. Any other advice from people on here is fine but I would not trust anyone but my doc on an injury

On the contrary... I also fucked up my ankle last year. I broke two bones in it and had to get one of them pinned. My doctor said to take it easy for a couple weeks, then i could work out after that (I was in a cast BTW) except i could not do any standing excercises. Things i did were: Bench press, flyes, concentration curls, hammer curls, preacher curls, seated shoulder press. Just stay off the leg, K.
