Sorry but you can not spot reduce. If you are going to try and lose fat in one area it will come off at others as well. Dieting and cardio will help you do that. Also try reverse crunches and leg raises to help firm up that area.

What is worse is that is the last place your fat will go away. For some reason that is where you put on fat first. For guys anyway.

Your body fat percentage has to be below 10-15 percent before you see any noticible flatness to your stomach. At least for me anyway.

Like said, the only way to do it is cardio exercise.

If you are already tried dieting, training and so on, try plastic surgery.

If you have had fat around the belly button for many years, say most of your life, chances are the fat is going to take a long time to go away. Some types of fat that are devoid of "brown fat", which breaks down ordinary fat into energy, can not be burned. This fat I refer to as "baby fat" because it seems to have been there since you were a baby and is as much a part of you as your arm or leg it seems.

I would stick with a cardio and balanced diet program of several small meals a day for a year to see if it will dissipate before you decide on surgery.

Actually, you can spot reduce. There are supplements available today that make this possible. You guys need to get out of the caveman era. Shit. It's amazing that some people rely on you guys for advice (well, I hope no one is relying on it.) To spot reduce stubborn fat areas, get some prescription Yohimbine HCL and some DMSO gel. Mix some yohimbine into a bit of the DMSO and apply to the stubborn areas. Wrap your application in saran wrap. For instance, apply to the love handles and abs, and wrap saran wrap around you where you put the mixture. The purpose behind the saran wrap is to prevent other particles being absorbed through your body via the dmso. Be sure to apply yohimbine on an EMPTY stomach and do not eat for at least 1 hour afterward (1 1/2 hours is recommended). The reason behind this is because insulin negates the effects of yohimbine and renders it virtually useless. (By the way, see how I explain the rationale behind some of this shit?) Anyway, on to the diet... To lose stubborn fat when dieting you MUST go below your maintance calories in order to lose fat. After a few days of low calories, your body's metabolism will begin to slow (natural adaption to prevent starvation). So, the next day raise calories slightly above maintance level so your body knows it's not in starvation mode. The next few days drop calories again. Depending on your choice of diet, you can manipulate protein, carbs, or fat -- whichever you prefer. There's lots of other ways to do it (such as if you want to use drugs to assist you), but this will still get the job done even though it takes a bit longer. If you are on AAS then you can keep the calories below maintance all the time and lose fat without worrying about losing muscle (aren't drugs nice?). If you choice to diet while using AAS, through in some T3 and clen to really crank up that metabolism. Alright, I've really gone off tangent here. If anyone needs more help with this just email me or post a question here. I'll be happy to help out.

Hey Stone, I wasn't calling you a caveman because you don't use steroids. It's just an old school of thought that you can't spot reduce, but yes, today you can AND without using steroids.

Anyway, you can get DMSO at health food stores or at DMSO.COM. I have tried the yohimbine hcl and dmso combo for stubborn fat and it DOES work. Anyone who tells you they tried it and it didn't work simply did it wrong. You must be fairly lean to begin with, and you must do it on an empty stomach. Eating right after your application will also render it useless. Doing it just a couple of times a week probably will not render much results at all either. This is a daily routine type of thing (the more, the better) and is kinda a pain in the ass. I used to always use it when I did cardio in the morning (since I do it on an empty stomach) since that was most convenient. In the meantime, play with your diet some more and really cut down on the carbs.

I remember using DMSO in football to apply ointments to muscles quickly. I think it occurs naturally in garlic or something. Some people would use it to do recreational drugs.

Basically anything it is mixed with is very easily absorbed into the skin, into the blood, and can spread through your body. I have always wondered why more people juicing didn't use it. It could be what is in those andro dermal creams that are applied on the thigh where your skin is the thinnest so it reaches the blood stream more efficiently.

Yohimbine HCL or HC1 (?) is used on bovine (bulls) to make them mate more. It is used in some weight loss products and you can order it on the net. I am not sure what it does to fat.

Ok. I heard some weird ass rumor that you can break up fat cells by rubbing the area in a circular motion before you exercise that group. I have no idea if its true or not but just had to say what I heard and wanted to see what you guys thought about that.

Use these products for two months. They're supposed to be very effective.
