Hey what's up!! I'm a 17 year old guy, and I want my body to look really good. I want a six pack, big arms, and a nice strong chest. I wanna look like those guyz in the soap opera's, you know everytime they take off their shirt in a scence. I wanna impress the girls, plus I wanna be in shape and just feel fit. The problem is I have no weights and I have no $ to go to the gym. I really wanna work on my abs and arms...but I have no equipment....what should I do guyz? Any exercise advice?

Do crunches, chins, and diet. If you can, find a way to do some form of squats or deadlifts.

...pushups, Tricep dips...use your imagination. If it is heavy, it can be used as a weight. You don't need a club to do Cardio. But as you will read here over and over, Rest and Diet are BIG. You have to work on the diet side hard. Get your protein or you won't grow.
... and finally - always ask for advice. That's what this is all about.
Good Luck.

I started off just doing simple push ups, sit ups, pull ups, tricep dips, and riding a bike or running for cardio.

The dumbbells and other equipment are necessary when your body weight is not enough anymore so do your thing at home with the furniture until you are able to do it without effort. You can even add some weight to your body by wearing more clothes or putting things in your pocket. I know it isn't fashionable but it works just as well and sometimes better.

One thing I will add that has not already been mentioned is to do a lot of stretching. Your muscles need to be stretched into becoming bigger and is very important to growing. I am sure there are people who have equipment available and still don't stretch regularly like they should and you can do that just about anywhere.

Good Luck and have fun while you are at it

It seems to me you are using your extra testosterone for all the wrong reasons. Become a man who is admired by the ladies but also envied and feared among the men.

Beach muscles may look good to some girls, but you will get no respect from hardcore trainers who do their whole body and not just chest, arms and abs(i.e. the hard shit like squats, deads, cleans)

More impressive to me than a big chest and arms are a big set of wheels and a wide back. Keep your mind off the women and motivation on the weight and soon it will all be yours!

I started off lifting weights to get chicks, but before I knew it I forgot about the 'women-getting' aspect of it and I became addicited to the love-for-working-out aspect. Nowadays, women are my last objective.
I'm sure the same will happen to you.

About your post....you can't really get massive arms without weights. You may grow I limited amount just doing natural exercises but then things will start to get to easy.

I suggest to save some money to buy some dumbells or a bar and bench. Or if you have access to a metal shop you can build your own bench and weights.

What ethertek said happened to me also, I got started by wanting to look buff, and after a while I got really hooked on it. It's funny but now I think about it I don't think about girls much when I am in the gym. In fact I find it somewhat distracting when I am in the middle of a heavy set and a girl walks up to the dumbbell rack and bends over with her ass over my face. Normally I would get stiff but because I am focussing on my workout I find it hard to concentrate and lose all desire to workout and want to flirt.

No matter what the reason a person starts lifting doesn't matter. Soon they will be hooked like we are and get to the point girls won't approach them anymore because they are "huge", "gross", or intimidating.

I personally find it to be a contest to see who is the biggest in the gym and when you get to that point you feel pressure to stay on top.

Now it seems like girls are the last thing on my mind when in the gym. It has to be that way or I will waste my time working out and I do want to make the most out of my workouts.

It great that you want to be fit for the 'ladies'. One of my long term goals is to turn 80, buffed and have the young ones running after me!

When I first got into lifting moderately about a summer ago I was in it b/c I wanted to go back to school and impress the ladies with size. Then I realized I was doing it for the wrong reason. My new motivation is to train for ice hockey and to be in the best damn condition I can to perform. Sure if I look good with my shirt then I'm gonna show off the hard work, but that ain't good motivation. If I start getting more girls b/c of the size that I acquired, then I reap the extra benefits, but look at it this way. All of your life people probably have told you to not change for anyone but yourself. Well lifting only to get girls is not changing for yourself. If a girl doesn't like the way I am she can blow me. And hell if she likes me she can blow me too.
