If you really wanted to hit your chest 2wice a week I would do something like this:

Mon:
Bench, a few warmup sets and 2 all out worksets to failure
Incline Bench, 1 warmup set 2 all out to failure
Flyes, 2 sets to failure

Thursday:
Dips, 2 warmup sets, 2 sets to all out failure
close grip bench press: 1 warmup, 2 sets to failure
Keep your reps between 5-8, and if you can get 8 without going to failure one week increase the weight 5 pounds the next week. With this routine your hitting the chest directly on Tuesday and indirectly on Thursday while your tri's (which have to be developed to have a good chest) are being hit directly on Thursday and indirectly on tuesday. Just remember that if you do military presses or others that involve the tri's to include them on one of these days.

If you work your chest twice a week, dont "kill" it both times. Do a hard chest workout the first time and the second workout do more of a light or medium workout. (I'm talking poundage-wise). Never do a workout on a sore bodypart either, let it heal so it can grow.

Do not follow a program that is in a magizine especially if it is in FLEX!!
Those programs are designed to overtrain the natural lifters,if your aided by Mr Gear then thats a different story.

You can only hit your chest twice per week if you are on the gear. Be patient. Everyone has muscles that take longer to grow than others. I have a big chest but my calves are stubborn as hell! As my man says - the workouts in flex are written by people full of roids who can recover quick enough to tarin twice per week.

My husband takes notions throughout the year to train chest 2x/wk. When he does he works it harder the 1st time and later in the week, he does lighter weights w/ more reps. He says this helps his chest to GROW. If you're still sore from the previous workout, be careful. He really pulled his chest once and couldn't work it for over a month.

If chest is done once a week properly it will grow, that means heavy weights no more than 6-8 reps no more than 12 sets.If you are chemically helped then that is a different story . Remember heavy weights heavy eating big results.

All body parts ONCE per week.

Do not follow the norm or you WILL overtrain in the long run.
