considering up till this summer I've never used a mass building diet, do you think its possible to pack on 20-30lbs. Im 6'1 and 202lbs. I plan on getting at least 300 grams of protein a day. Im not a newbie lifter so please don't think that I am, Its too hard to have this diet in high school. Also what supps should I take with it, The only one im sure on is Nlarge2 specifically for use right after a workout, I'd appreciate a list of other things to use also

Dude, it will be impossible to gain that much lean muscle mass in such a short period of time. It took me ten years to go from 135lbs to 190lbs. You will have to get on some gear to reach that goal. You can achieve a good 10lbs or so in lean mass though. Use creatine, glutamine and some meal replacements. Stay away from fat burners, they will cut your appetite. Consume as many calories as you can and train hard, sleep, sleep, sleep.

Do you think I could gain between 30-50 lbs in a year? and what supps should I use (brands) I've used creatine in the past but didn't like it much, maybe it was a bad brand. Im looking for good deals on these and need help finding the best quantity/quality product. I do take Nlarge2 immediately after a workout. And do you think 10-15 lbs is a big deal, will it really show?

Austin, it depends on how long you have been training. If you are just starting out, huge gains are possible in a years time. Guys like me who have been training for years are happy with 10lbs of lean mass in one year. It's hard to do naturally. You can gain 20-30lbs, but a good percentage of that might be fat. If you dont care about staying lean, then yes, it is possible. I like to stay at 9-10%bodyfat, so it's very hard for me to gain that much lean mass. Like I said, in ten years, I've gained 55lbs. Thats an average of 5.5lbs per year. Which, when I think about it, it sucks. But, I have always stayed lean, so it's cool.

Oh, and on supplements...creatine, glutamine and protein. Personally, I need meal replacement powders to gain weight. The calories and protein help a lot in my diet. I use either EAS Myoplex or Met-Rx. There are some other better, up-to-date ones out there, but they can get expensive. Also I use a regular protein powder. I find Max Muscle's brand to be okay. It's at a good price and I think it's good quality. I used to use Next Nutrition Designer Protein and that is pretty damn good too. For creatine, I use Met-Rx Creatine AC because it has creatine and glutamine together in one powder, but you can buy them separate if you want. Ok...companies that I've used over ten years and I think are good are: EAS, Twinlab, Sportpharma, Prolab and Met-Rx.

Austin you need to take in 2 grams of protein to 1 lb off bodyweight. Do not be scared to gain fat put on as much weight as you can(i am assuming your training principles are correct) then cut it down. Assuming you are natural, 30lbs of pure mucle is impossible to gain in such a short amount of time unless you have some gear. Take in about 4500 to 5500 cals a day and the nlarge sup is excellent is doesn't bloat you so you can eat again soon after.

I am all natural and the 10 pounds of lean muscle mass a year sounds just right without juicin'

I went from a lean 166 to a lean 194 in about three years and that is just under 10 pounds a year. I did everything by the book and ate like a pig. (it doesn't matter what you eat if you don't mind the fat, just eat everything in sight and all day)

I would be extremely skeptical of anyone doing 30 pounds of lean muscle in a matter of weeks without juice. And from what I hear, the gains from juicin' don't tend to stay around long when you stop taking it as well as when you are natural.

Stone,
You can keep 80-90% of your gains on the juice IF you know what you are doing and what else to take while you are on a cycle. You will loose your gains if you dont take anything to raise your natural testosterone levels...you will crash after a cycle. You have to take clomid to to keep your levels up and hold on to your gains so after a cycle, you dont crash.

There are the facts man. Research it sometime so nobody spreads false info. (Not coming down on anyone, just want the correct info out there. Too many "bad" rumors about juice come from misinformation). Thanks.

CONTRACTION,

No worries, I just repeat what I heard from those who do juice, like you say, there is a lot of misinformation. I admit that I am no expert. I did leave out the part about ways to minimize muscle loss after a cycle.

Don't get me wrong, I don't disagree with someone juicin' I just know what I read from those who do.

Actually I would love to know more about using gear. I have thought about it a lot and the only thing holding me back is that I am in no hurry and it sounds expensive.

You seem to have given it a lot of thought before you decided to juice and I respect that. It is something I have thought about for about a year but I do need to read more about it before I decide myself. I feel comfortable that it is safe enough to risk but I lack the confidence to do it.

I figure the where to get it part is the riskiest part of it, getting ripped off or whatever. I have read several articles on roids and the information is overwhelming, there are so many different types and so many opinions that it would take a long time to sort it all out in my mind before I decide.

I believe the popular choice is to use debol, with short cycles of 2-3 weeks, and clomid for 1 week afterwards. I am not sure about the doses though, I would have to look that up.

I did try to obtain some from my doctor and I am going through some tests to get test that way but I am not sure if he will do it or how much. I heard the quantities doctors give out are not enough even by average amounts of test in people.

I would be interested in what you decided and how because it sounds like you did the research. Unlike myself as you pointed out
