Look at some of my postings. I do 2 days on, 1 off , 2 on. Each bodypart once per week (Mon = chest/bi/calves; Tues = shoulders/traps/abs; Thurs = legs/calves; Fri = back/tri/abs.)

i used to workout 4 days a week...day 1 back, day 2 rest , day 3 chest shoulders, day 4 bis tris, day 5 rest, day 6 legs, day 7 rest, repeat...important things to remember, dont train chest and back on consecutive days...anyway start with that, then however your body feels then adjust it, there is no split that is perfect for everybody, its a matter of finding one that works for you, keeps you interested and motivated, the psychological aspect of weightlifting is a huge factor
