My record for Arm curls is
1st set 500 reps
2nd set 400 reps
3rd set 225 reps

I did this 2 years ago with 20% of my max curl
It was like a marathon; It took me nearly 30mins just to finished the first set
My biceps and forearm felt like it was about to explode

My record for push-ups is about 185
nonstop reps

i hope i don't sound ignorant, but what the hell is the point of doing 500 reps of curls? i know the benifit(s) of doing high reps for stuff, maybe mixing up your workout a little, but damn. just curious what would possess someone to do that...i must say it's pretty impressive though (must have been boring).

I blew out my shoulder a while back, and was so frustrated at my total inability to do anything for chest, I grabbed a pair of 20s and did 110 flies straight. I could've kept going but got over the mad by then. Probably looked like an idiot, too.
Thoguh, come to think of it, after the first 50 or so the pain started to subside...

Holy crap, reps?

You are going to get endurance like hell. If your planning on building strength, bad routine.

Why? Because.
Some time ago I did 56 reps with 225# in the squats. The reps are not as high as some of you have listed, but you really must try a really high rep set with squats. It's like staring at death in the face.
