I was wondering if it is better to switch your routine everytime u workout that way u add variety to ur workout, and at the same time u are surprising ur muscles. Then I was also told that I should stick witht he same exercises that way I know if I am improving my strength or not. I am confused and not sure with routine I should go with, any info would be appreciated.

It depends on how long you have been lifting. When your a beginer, the same workout is fine because your trying to get your muscles used to this new experience. At this level, switching your routine around frequently can be detrimental because your sending your body too many signals. As you get more and more experience,, your muscles get used to certain exercises and stop responding. So at this level it is good to chenge your routine often to shock the muscles into continuous growth. I've been lifting for 16 years so my muscles don't respond to the same routine day after day after day. I do a different workout everytime, the same muscle groups but different exercises, set range, and rep ange. So it all boils down to how much experience do you have!
