I talked to a guy at my gym yesterday who's huge and claims to be all natural. He says that he only works out once every 7 days and for less than 20 minutes. He said he's been training a new girl and within 2 months of his workout strategy she's gained 14lbs of muscle and lost 11 lbs of fat! Anyone know about this training--does it work?

I use HIT but working out once a week (not each body part once a week, but once a week) is for the lifter that has been working out (using HIT priciples) for some time. When you first start HIT you work out to failure with a few sets, but you work each body part once a week. The HIT principles go much deeper than this (as it is an oversimplification of its principles) but working out once a week is not enough (that would take you forever to exercise the whole body completly). By the way, strength does improve very rapidly (muscle increases follows strength increases), and with GREAT/perfect form.

if you think that's weird....i talked to this 47 year old black dude, who had this HUGE chest, i mean HUGE!, one of the bigest i'v ever seen. i asked him what the hell he does to get it so big and ripped, he said 100 pushups a day, that's all he does. it was funny because he had chicken legs....

I use HITall the time, but I still work out 5-6 days a week. I also do the whole body in that time frame.

Yes, your strength goes up, you will increase in size and so forth, but all that aside, you can't change the laws of physics/biology!

You have to have the genetics
You have to have the nutrients
You have to have the time (years of training)
And if it is miraculous, most likely you are not getting the whole story. Remember, anything you achieve is at a price, whether it is in time invested at the gym, money spent on supplements etc, bottom line is nothing is for free nor do you get by doing little to NO WORK!.
