flex525 Amateur Bodybuilder (Total posts: 3)	posted January 18, 2000 04:43 PM I am coming off of first cycle and wanna start HCG. I have 2 of 5,000 U.I. and 2ml. It is the one with a powder in a bottle and a liquid in an amp. (from Mex.) I can't find any info on how to mix or what the dosage should be. I believe this is a two week cycle but that is all I know. PLEASE HELP. ------------------ IP: Logged
BIZ Moderator (Total posts: 273)	posted January 18, 2000 05:49 PM FROM ABSOLUTE TRUTH! BIZ! HCG Description HCG is a glycoprotein that is secreted in the urine by pregnant women. It is legally used as a fertility drug for women to help induce ovulation. This drug is used by male athletes to elevate natural levels of testosterone production, mostly after a steroid cycle. This drug is used to kick start your testosterone after a cycle. While on steroids for long periods of time (more than 3 - 4 weeks) your natural testosterone shuts down. A shot of this each week for 2 weeks straight will get things going again. It should be used for no more than 2 weeks at a time because it also raises a male's natural production of estrogen (and we don't want any gyno now do we?). For that reason take some Nolvadex with it also. HCG is always packaged in 2 different vials, one with a powder and the other with a sterile solvent. These vials need to be mixed before injecting, and refrigerated should any be left for later use. Effective Dose 1500 - 2500 IU per week Street Price $10 per IU Stacking Info Used to come off of a steroid cycle. Take with Nolvadex to reduce side effects. IP: Logged

As for the mix, do I just break off the tip of the amp, draw with needle and inject into bottle with powder to mix? As for the suggested dose, 1,500 to 2,500 I.U., for the 5,000 I.U. giantset Amateur Bodybuilder (Total posts: 43)	posted January 20, 2000 05:33 PM Correct me if I am wrong, but I have read that HCG mimicks lutinizing hormone and therefor suppresses the recovery of LH production by the pituitary gland. For this reason, it is theorized that HCG is better used during a cycle to prevent dramatic losses in natural test production so as to make post cycle recovery faster and reduce post cycle muscle catabolism. When used as a post cycle recovery mechanism, shouldn't an athlete use it in conjunction with clomid in order to suppress the effects of elevated estrogen levels as well as to promote the recovery of LH secretion in the pituitary gland? DreamingBig Amateur Bodybuilder (Total posts: 77)	posted January 21, 2000 04:59 PM I would use the Clomid one week after your last HCG shot. You can also take HCG in the middle of your cycle, just make sure that there is at least one month break in between using HCG. You are definitely going to need to use Nolvadex with HCG (in between 20 mg and 40 mg, sometimes more -- if you are prone to getting gyno). Using both HCG and Clomid will help to get your natural test production back on track. IP: Logged
