I have heard it is best to do cardio in the morning on an empty stomach....is this the best time?

Yes, the morning is the best time to do cardio b/c thats when you burn the most fat

Ditto to Blackhaus. You go straight to your fat storage for your energy supply. The second choice would be to do your cardio right after weight training as you have used most of your carb energy to lift and can hit your fat storage quicker.

am cardio is the best....your glycogen stores are used up, so fat is used as energy....good luck
