Have any of you done any fitness modeling? Several people at the gym keep telling me I should look into it but I'm not sure how to go about it. I've heard the best way to get some exposure is to enter a competition but that's not really my bag. IP: Logged |

Hey Trish, if you find out any information, please let me in on it. Alot of people from my gym told me I should do the same thing, but I'm with you I don't want to enter a competition for exposure,I'vebeen at this for a long time,it would be cool to show off all the hard work... thanks, Sexpot ------------------ IP: Logged |

If you happen to be in the LA area I would be able to point ya all in a few directions. Plenty of "fit" modeling for the new clothes each season. All kinds: biking, mountain climbing, ski wear, Motorcycle (Harley only gals) and of course workout stuff. Late Lobo IP: Logged |

It's a bonus to live near L.A if you're serious about making it a career. A good friend of mine is featured in todays top mags and discussed the biz with me. I'm sure if you started training in the top gyms and you're looking impressive you'll be noticed. If you guys don't mind me asking I'd love to see some training pics. No pressure intended (especially since the subject) All the luck to you girls!!! IP: Logged |

Why don't you send pics to PUMP magazine? It won't cost you anything, and there's a good chance to get noticed. I'm sending mine in about a month. IP: Logged |

I am a fitness model...I have been featured in pump, oxygen, and several of my shots were sold to muscle & fitness but havent been published yet...my best advice to you all is to get good shots done, and send them to every creative director of every magazine known to man...also look up some fitness modeling agencies on the web....& the michael scott agency...try to find fitness photographers in your area...( look on the side of the pics in mags...photo credits)...if you live near cali you are lucky....less traveling....doing contests is also a great means of being "discovered"...good luck IP: Logged |

I was a male fitness model while I went to school in Ohio. There is a wonderful agency in downtown Columbus called Noni's. I'm not sure if any of you are from that area, but they are very personable and will most definitely treat you right. I have made a lot of money with there help IP: Logged |
