Thank U so much for your kind words of praise....there are still a few wrinkles that the programmers are promising will be "ironed out" shortly (Where have I heard that before?). I have a lot of ideas but I've never done this before and I'm not quite sure what direction I want to head in...so any input would be greatly appreciated - positive or negative, I need to know what is "wrong" too! I did not delete any posts on this thread. The only posts that I delete are those that are source posts or downright degrading towards women - not me. The only THREAD that I have EVER deleted was a thread THAT I ORIGINATED which is within the power off ALL ELITE FITNESS MEMBERS. The only reason that particular thread deleted was because ADMITTTEDLY, though I did respond negatively to what I percieved was a negative attack by a "stranger" it had progressed to a point that was negative TO ALL women - ESPECIALLY JUST US MOTHERS Feel free to bash me U all wish. I've been called a LOT WORSE by a LOT BETTER PEOPLE, but if personal insults are what you are interested in than might I suggest the CHAT BOARD?......or email? Wench and Hardtail - please I URGE U to email GEORGE or CHRIS at elite and tell them how U REALLY feel! HAVE A NICE DAY! BMom, You seem to forget that I was "there" for that post that you deleted. It, in no way, progressed to a bashing of "mother's" by me or anyone else who responded. I, too, am a mother. I feel if someone wants to grand stand, they need to do it on there own site and not a public site which is supposed to be a forum. Ever wonder why most people don't stick around this board? I have E mailed George. I hope he reins in certain folks on this board. Jealous? I don't think so. I don't need the constant attention that this woman craves and begs for. The expression on your face shows how much pride you take in being a mom. And to contribute to your website, if I may, we would like to hear how your started and the ins and outs of the fitness modeling industry. Very interested in this myself or just shoot me an email for now and give me a little information. Yes, you have inspired me again and I even went and put my bikini on layaway for the summer. Now that is a goal to obtain!!!! So I will be sending you pics soon for you to post. I love the idea of feature a different mom every month or so and giving a little background on their life. U guys are too generous, I'll take yall as my therapy ANY OLE DAY!!!! hehe Mrs TG - I heard through the grapevine that you are quite the looker (I'm not just blowin' air up underneath that fringed skirt of yours neither....I heard this several months ago from one of the other mods who doesn't post on this particular board.) and I'd be happy to help you in any way that I can. Yes, I do want to give out basic modeling info, the proper way to get into it, how to avoid some of the pitfalls, etc. The site is very basic as of yet and unfortunately, because I am working w/programmers I don't have all the control I'd like. I'm going to give it a shot w/them and then if things don't head in a direction that pleases me, I will pull the plug and take my business elsewhere. All kidding aside, this is a pet project of mine and I take it very seriously. I am so sick and tired of the whole "plastic fuck doll who can be broken in two in bed" - bullshit! I am not saying that I am all that, however, I am hoping that if enough people see enough images and get to know enough strong and beautiful women who are smart, witty, dedicated, etc.....public perceptions will begin to change. That is one of the reasons for my "Mother of the Month" feature. There is soooooooooo many beautiful women with downright amazing physiques just waiting to shine!....Geeze, how would I choose? Uh-oh another can of worms!....but one that I will gladly open. I guess I'd have to have some sort of on-line voting or something of the sort....but I am getting ahead of myself. The site is up, but it is still full of mistakes, ie the email doesn't work, there is missing text, etc - please bear w/me! If I could wrap my fingers around the programmers little necks........I WOULD! but then again, they'd be dead and then where would I be?! tee-hee Haters come w/the territory and it is all good. And for all of those who are wondering...No, I don't really walk around the house all day in a bikini....THONG PANTIES ONLY! Interesting thread, but I'm rather curious. I certainly haven't been around here forever: maybe about a year. I kinda remember the thread in question and know from experience that BMom has toned down her reactions a lot since the beginning. (Kudos girl) But at the same time, I do notice some trends. The positive feedback is not to worst by far. I'm pretty much a live and let live person anymore. I learned through the school of hard knocks that we don't all share the same tastes and ideals. We don't all come from the same set of circumstances either. Hardtail, are you the same gal that did the online pose-off with BMom? If you are (and even if you're not), I was quite impressed. I was the stocky little tomboy born into a family of barbie dolls. A failure from the get-go if you know what I mean. I certainly shamed them by being born with a handicap: that's why Mom (my mom) ran away. That was all a long time ago, and I'm no longer the family 'misfit'. I absolutely LOVE meaty women: I'd personnaly take a size 9 over a size 4 anyday. But you know, not everyone is as blessed genetically as I am. If I'm remembering anything that happened all those months ago, then I feel that your (Hardtail) lack of interaction is costing me a valuable resource. What exactly is bugging you about the direction of the Women's board? I'd certainly love to hear/see some threads on your topics. ------------------ | ||

Yes, Jayelynn your memory serves you correctly. I did go overboard as I had admitted SEVERAL times on that very same thread.....yet few people bothered to read those parts where I had admitted to my poor handling of that situation. They only harped on and on about the same comments that I made which I apologized for over and over again. I was in the process of removing only MY pcitures from that silly little lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek thread that I did begin which turned waaaaaaaaaaaay ugly (for which I accepted responsibility several times over for MY PART) when I saw a few posts, ONE IN PARTICULAR made by another board member, that I found to be so ugly and offensive.....as MANY others would have I am sure.....that I decided to delete the entire thread (as was within my power, as it is within the power of ALL board members to delete their own threads). I felt that the thread no longer offered anyone anything valuable AT ALL. If there was any other way.....I would have let the thread stand, in full. So I would also like to know, also Hardtail - WHAT IS YOUR BEEF? State your case. It's OK, no one will hang you out to dry. We are all civilized here (for the most part) and if you don't agree with me - THAT IS YOUR RIGHT....as is the right of many others. I have agreed to disagree w/MANY on this and the other elite boards by either stating my case or exercising my right to scroll on. ------------------ | ||

I agree we need more women with knowledge and experience in weighttraining on this board. I'm not a novice fitness competitor/lifter so I don't need diet advice or pep talks. I need fitnesschicks or any other veteran competitor/lifter advice on improving lagging bodyparts, how do they get ripped for a competition, the dilemma of whether to use AS or not, etc , etc. A lot of us women are intermediates(bikini mom included) and I know I need someone with more experience and knowledge or I'm not taking their advice.... This board is slow moving and the women(fitness chick) with great advice creep in and out. Hardtail if you have any advice or suggestions, why don't you post them? I for one would love to hear them. Especially if you indeed do have a great physique! I would post more but I've been busy with my son, modeling and getting ready for the Arnold Classic/Expo. I find I post more when I'm competing (I'm semi-dieting now so I can look half way decent at the Expo~smile!) Are there any others attending the Expo/Classic? | ||

Well where have I been??? I just read this post for the first time, and I also would like to have more input from Hardtail around here. I don't really remember the thread that Hardtail/Bikinimom had a head-on in, but I wish Hardtail didn't avoid posting on this site because I feel she as lots of valuable info to offer us. IT'S ALL GOOD, even when we sometimes (or always) disagree with other members. The important thing on this board is to share our knowledge, opinions and experiences so women can make the most informed choice possible about their health and fitness. Of course, it's better if we can share this info in a civil and polite manner, but occassionally tempers flare. At least it's not a full KO match like on the Anabolic Discussion Board! BTW, BMom, you (IMHO) should be an inpiration to all moms, all women, all bodybuilders, and all people who strive to improve themselves. | ||

BM, i must say that you have had an incredible change in the way your body looks since i saw the pic of you on the beach a while ago. good job on all your hard work. i just have one question and it is not meant to be rude. why is it that you feel this need to post a picture of yourself after every post? Are you happy with the fact that you are posting pictures of yourself vacuuming in a bikini, spread out over your mini van, etc. your professional pics are great, but the others are less tasteful. the last thing i would want my mom to do is post pics of her laying over her car for everyone to check out her ass. i posted my pictures once for opinions, but took them off when i got the advice i needed to move on. just have been wondering why you do the things you do with your pictures. you look good, don't get me wrong, but geez...it is kinda getting dumb! again, i am not trying to be rude at all, just wondering. ...dr | ||

Hardtail should post more often. She definitely has a lot of knowledge to share. Back a few months ago when I was just starting to get serious about training. I asked Hardtail for advice on diet. She was very nice and helped me out. She is the person responsible for my body fat going down 3% in a matter of three weeks. I never thought it would be so easy to lose FAT. But she really knows her S**T. Her physique speaks for itself. I agree with Fitness1 there are a lot of us here that are in the middle ground and need a knowledgable more experienced person to help us through the rough spots. Bmom on a lighter note,the website is excellent but I have two critiques 1. Chunk the vaccum pict it's corny and tell your photo guy to stop doing that thing with your hair. Get it out of your face I think it takes away from the picture. If you want that sexy look how about a wet look with the hair?heehee Sorry coming from a person in the salon industry! Good picts though as always and I can see your work is paying off on the legs. I know at one time you were working for more definition and size I believe.
