Hello all,I have ran this topic by WarLobo and he suggested I post my Q's here. War, > >I am seeking some of your knowledge. My wife is going in for some serious >surgery this summer (complete hysterectomy and breast tissue removal: genetics) >and we have talked about being in top shape helping her with the recovery. >The surgery is one that will leave her in bed for the better part of a week, > with an expected 8 week recovery period. She is 28, 5'4" 105lb > >My wife was a NCAA cross country and track runner so she knows about being >in shape and has certainly gotten more committed to running over the last >few months. She's ectomorphic, eating all the time, and not into putting >on alot of musculature. We discussed this and I reminded her the extreme >effort it takes to put muscle on as an ectomorphic woman. > >Do you believe it is beneficial to do a cycle during the recovery to enhance >protein synthesis and muscle rebuilding. She will not be active for the >first week and will be limited to biking/walking for several more weeks >and by 8 weeks is supposed to be able to get back with more normal exercise. > >Just looking for your opinion as to whether anavar, winny, primo or some >other test might be helpfull with the recovery > >Thanks Re: WarLobo (I've always thought using gear as a methode to speed recovery as one of it's true medical uses. You do not need much, only help in repairng the muscle and such - damn if I didn't wish I knew about roids when I had my hernia.) Any input is appreciated- sorry for the long post but background is necessary- this is very, very major surgery: much muscle tissue will be damaged along the chest wall.
Thanks

A bit more background,My wife has never done a cycle before- but she definitely is genetically gifted- she looked like a lightweight bb 7 years ago just from runnning competitively. I have spoken with her about several topics over the last couple years i've frequented the boards. She trusts what we have learned so far and I told her I was going to talk with some people about the surgery issue and if there was more we could do to prepare or recover. Re: WarLobo (Well, humm.... So this would be a first time. And I assume you have a solid background in rear usage yourself. So injections would not be a problem for her?? I would stay away from any oral as it would tax the liver and during any recovery the entire body is stressed as is. Besides, winny ain't much for recovery.
I would suggest a mild (25mg) of deca every week with a cc of injectable b12. Both the deca and b12 affect the immune system in a very positive way. The low dose deca will assist in muscle recovery and positive nitrogen balance - very important while the body is heavily under pressure to heal itself. But this all dependent on her taking an injection....) Thanks WL blu

F1,Thanks for the input- my wife doesn't intend on competing in bb- so 1/2 life is of no concern. My wife has always had great liver values no matter what the situation (pregnancy, an accutane cycle ...) How long after the surgery should we get the Liver Value test 5 days ... the surgery should be 6-8 hours. An anesthesiologists(sp)opinion is welcomed? Thanks blu
