I've decided not to eat anything I would not feed my dog. Have you ever looked at your dog while you are eating and hear yourself say, "Sorry baby, this isn't good for dogs, it will make you sick?"

??? I thought the only food that was bad for dogs was too much chocolate. As a vegetarian I would have said "I won't eat anything that's good for my dog"!

I hope you're not planning on eating everything your dog eats. My dog loves cat poo.

Chocolate and onions are no-no's for our K-9 companions. My dog eats chicken all the time with me.

HAHA! I hear that MS! My dog engages in a little feltching now and again... its even more gross when she goes out and eats her own old dry turds. Like crap cannibalism or something...

As for not feeding things to dogs... Ive always heard dogs and cats are pretty much lactose intolerant. So treats like ice cream and the ever popular bowl of milk for kitty can cause upset stomachs and such...

Yeah...what is it with dogs snackin' on their turds? I just don't get it...my puppy has turned it into a daily ritual...nothing like a poop-smelling puppy kiss...GROSS!!!

Hehehe I have two bullmastiffs that would clean out the litter box in seconds flat....but now if I could get them to eat their own poo my poor older son would be out of poop duty as one of his chores.....

Buff...your dog is so adorable. Speaking of dogs...mine does the wierdest thing. He has a habit of rolling in dried crap (any animal's suits him fine...dog, cat, horse, cow, and, yes, even pig). Does anyone elses dog do that?

Thanks He's a little troublemaker! He would make a small snack for Riptchik's mastiff! About the rolling in crap phenomenon...mine doesn't roll in it, but he seems to want to play with it, in dung-beetle fashion...dogs sure are wierd...

Ahem, I meant chocolate, potato chips, ice cream, etc. My dog loves horse poo but I don't follow his taste in food.

Feltching Monster??!! Bwaahaaahaaa!
What a crack up. Wish I had a dog y'all. My sweetie don't want the dog to get all the attention! That's probably more true than not.

OKay, I think I understand now. All you need to do (maybe one or two days a month) is lock yourself in the bedroom, or go out to eat those things so you don't have to justify it to your dog. BTW your dog deserves a little treat every now and then too
