If you want to gain weight you need to eat enough food to make you gain weight, you say you eat like a pig but you do not eat enough or you would gain weight( just a fact! ) Eat more! Then eat again & again!!! You say your not active, then lift weights to put on some solid muscle weight & if you do this try some creatine it can help you put some weight on but most of all you have to EAT!!!

If your body takes in more calories then it expends, then it must gain weight, that is just maths. Whether that weight is muscle or fat will be determined by the quality or cleanness of those calories and your training. Having said that, a good proportion of your total calories should come from fat, try 30%. Looking at your weight, you should make sure that you are getting at LEAST 130g of high quality protein a day. Dont just guess how much you are eating, write it down, its probably a lot less than you think.
