I broke up with my g/f and my intestine is very swolowed, I dont want to take valium because it makes me feel sleepy for days.. what would you recommend as an alternative? mayby xanax?

Try the xanax, preferably the 2 mg, but that is your choice.

Or you could try a halcion .5 mg should do the trick.

if its your first time then start out with a tab of low grade acid or else a half tab of high grade
