This show was a pathetic attempt at taking some of the Star Trek popularity. The aliens were the worst design I have seen. Like the centauri, that hairstyle is what's supposed to distinguish them as aliens?? what a joke!!) Then there's those minbari that look human, except they have some crown bullshit instead of hair. The whole plot is as atheist as one can possibly get. All religions are shown to be well meant, but full of shit, alien and human alike. The ships were the ugliest things one could possibly design, and the humans always had the crappiest ships compared to other "races" The weapons looked like cap guns. I'm supposed to believe these things shoot out particle streams?? The only two things I liked about the show were: The station itself, and that guy, Sheridan, he was cool... ------------------

not a fan then  Give it a chance! A lot of the religious stuff is probably the director trying to get something across, but the battle scenes are MUCH better then any of the shit i've seen in star trek, you do get to know the characters a lot better in this than in other shows. And who says aliens HAVE to look totally different to us. There are loads of extremes looking aliens in the show to keep you happy. And the ships get better as the series go on! But the pistols they use have to be THE turdiest things i've seen. You'd do better with a colt than one of those things. Just my opinion though | ||

The Centauri are supposed to look A LOT like humans. There is a point to that. Humans have ugly ships? Their ships are the "lowest tech" of all the major races so they don't look as sleek and fanciful. It's a very well thought out show. It takes time to catch everything that's going on because it's a soap opera. It has five years worth of a continuing story vs Star Trek having a different story for virtually every episode. ------------------ | ||

You woukld think then after Mike Strachinzky spent 5 seasons making B5 (something where events in the first 2 series have consequences in the last) and spent so long on character development could f*** up so badly on CRUSADE. That is COMPLETE dog turd. They had better do someting to that show and fast. |
