Let's consider the choices: Miami- 10-1, Beat 3 top 25 teams, 2 in the top 5. Lost to Washington and played McNeese State, a division 1 AA school. FSU- 11-1, Beat 5 top 25 teams, 1 in the top 5. Lost to Miami. Washington- 10-1, Beat 3 top 25 teams, 1 in the top 5. Lost to Oregon. So basically, how can FSU be ahead of MIami, when Miami beat them? How can Miami be ahead of Washington when Washington beat them? Logic would say that Washington should play Oklahoma, but does anyone really think Washington should be ahead of FSU?    | ||

i was hoping for a ksu win... miami would have their ass handed to them this time by fsu... then again who knows... i do think OU is in loads of trouble... if they win this then they prove something to everyone, if not then fsu and miami are sharing the crown (writers poll, bcs) | ||

If Miami should be ahead of FSU, which I'm not saying they should'nt, then Washington should be ahead of Miami. If that is logic that Miami is basing their case on this logic then here is your top 4: 1. Oklahoma 2. Washington 3. Miami 4. FSU | ||

Great logic brains. Miami beat FSU. Granted Washington beat Miami. Miami ALSO beat Virginia Tech, handily. Did washington beat two top 5 teams? What about FSU? Answer is no. As well Miami is ranked higher in both polls. Somehow FSU still jumps them. Its the FSU-S (BCS) Just to determine who plays florida state in the title game since florida state plays in the acc (Florida State and the Little 8) and has no worries except twice a year. FSU will rape OU. Should be FSU Miami but if not that we all know Miami should be there. Go canes | ||

Say what you will, but FSU is by far a better team "NOW" then Miami, no question...If you cant see that you must have your eyes shut, and what about Nebraska jumping FSU a few years back,that shit happens, blame the BCS not the Seminoles......Go 'Noles......... ------------------ | ||

i hate them, but FSU should be in the title game. the loss to miami was on miami's home field, and when the game is THAT CLOSE, that's the difference. does anybody really think miami could beat fsu in tallahassee? they showed how they fare against tough teams on the road up in washington.... on a neutral field fsu would probably be a 4 or 5 point favorite (more?) over miami. | ||

I hope FSU barely wins and Miami wins big. That should cause a split. Division 1 needs a playoff. High school has a playoff, so does NAIA Division II and 1A and pros. Division 1 college football is the only level of fb where there is no playoff. It all comes down to money, money and more money in an amateur sport. ------------------ | ||

George Bush has already won the Orange Bowl. Although, Chief Osceola can scalp old W. Noles are the best team in the country. Period. BTW, Clemson and Florida were in the top five this year. Just not when the Noles beat them- | ||

NCAA will never allow a playoff system for 1-A football. Big school need the bowl system for revenue. Advertisers and the people who help support and fund these big programs need the bowls to bring more money into these schools. College athletics is all about money. I play for a 1-AA program in florida and money here too is the bottom line. | ||

Well it looks like someone is going to have to jump in and defend the OKLAHOMA SOONERS. Sorry Guys I know that all of the Florida teams are really good but OK is still number one and undefeated. In October we layed and ass whipping on a top 20 Texas, Then we proceeded to take out Kstate at home then ranked number 2, oh yeah did I mention the housing of Number 1 ranked Nebraska. That game was awesome Nebraska came out and scored 2 touchdowns right off, then guess what that sooner magic came back and shut there asses down. Then in what is total bullshit we have to play a championship game against Kstate again. Still number 1. Now we go to Florida to play FSU. Slickdad OU will not get raped by FSU. OU plays up to the level of there opponents and then some. Yeah are last few victories were close but we still won. If our O cant do it then the D steps up and kicks that ass. I am not saying we will win but it will be a great game. May1010 Oklahoma is nestled between Texas and Kansas if you have forgotten that since highschool. Oh yeah we are in the Big 12 which is one of the few conferences with any teams noted for football. That about sums it up. | ||
