I get very painful elbows when ever i workout or play hockey, it is getting so bad now that sometimes i can't even move my arm, the other night the gave me demerol because the pain was so bad, what is the best thing for it besides deca, i know my doc won't prescribe anything that will help, he will just say take time off, i am starting a omna/fina cycle next week i hope, if my arm are better.

I have the same problem with the left elbow. I think I get this from doing upright rows. It's not as bad as it was. I remember one night I was trying to do the last set of skull crushers and I was in so much pain with my elbow I couldn't do them. I think I Hyperextended it or something, its still sensitive.

The fina is not going to make the pain better. Infact the fina may make your tendons even more sore, due to the fact you will be getting stronger quicker without the water retention.

An old powerlifter(world record holder to this day) told me that fresh red cherrys had something in them that lubed joint and made tendons stronger. I have no idea of the science behind it for is it is even true. However when I have tendonitis(sp) or sore joint I eat about a half pound a day for a couple of days and my joints quit hurting. It may be all mental, because I believe in this man. He trained me to two straight USPF TX state powerlifting championships and a help me get a spot on The United States Powerlifting Team as a Junior.

hey! fellow hockey player here.
I know that this may sound trivial, but get a massage. I fight with my forearms all the time: sometimes the pain is in my wrists; sometimes in the elbow. Sometimes it works it's way all the way to my arm pits. My hands swell up, etc. It usually has a direct correlation with heavy workout (or just general labor for that matter). Professional massage is the bomb, tho it can get a little expensive. You'd be amazed at how much it can help relieve the overall tension (and I'm guessing the pain in your elbows). Works right on the spot too. You probably strained a few muscles and haven't taken the time or proper measures to heal. ..ie, tendonitis

I have a simular complaint. I over did my work out last Thursday and my shoulders are real sore. I did about 12,000 or more in shoulder and chest work and THAT was TOO MUCH! My pain is in the shoulders as my chest is okay, but it is in the joints not the muscles. I may try the cherry suggestion as I have tried ultram and motrin to no avail, any other suggestion would be welcome.

I would have to say that fighting in hockey is the worst in bringing out the pain. they don't usually hurt that much during the workout but after i can't lift my arms, but once i start to play hockey they start to kill me.
