OK- now someone very smart comes out and says the ballot was confusing and that he too messed up. Was on the news last night. So I guess we can no longer blame the old people. As for the republicans who say this is a waste of time- so was all the time and money you guys spent on trying to dig up dirt on Hillary over that land deal.     | ||

MR. H, I saw one of the local philly news reporters doing a street pole and about 1 out of every 6 - 8 people would punch the second slot. ------------------ | ||

Only 1 in every 6-8 people? Wow... I guess people (not just old people) in Palm Beach county are genuinely stupid. I think we should hold a revote for them. We should spend millions of tax dollars to hold a revote for those nice old folks and the people in the other 4 counties that everyone is whining about. Hey, why don't we hire some "Presidential Election Card-Punching Specialists" to hold everyone's hand? Wait, even better, why not just tell someone else to punch the card FOR them! I mean hey, they're obviously too stupid to do it themself. Or, why don't we let the candidate from whom this country would greater benefit be declared the winner as we should have done the night of the election? I like the latter better. -Warik | ||

It is too late now to have any kind of real, scientific study of whether or not the ballot is confusing. Everyone has seen it on the news and knows that the second hole belongs to buchannan. So a street vote for examples of how confusing it is would just prove it is confusing because the gore supporters will say so automatically and will more often punch the second hole on purpose to prove the point of the democratic party. I stand on my original statement. Florida old people and those who double punched and thsoe who punched without reading are flat out, undeniably the dumbest group of people this race has ever spawned. Do the gene pool a favour and kill yourselves. |
