If there is really an unusually high percentage of people in Florida, compared to the rest of the country, who fucked up their ballots in voting for two guys, you might really start to think it has something to do with the ballot itself.

If you guys can't decide who is going to be prez, I'll volunteer.

This is funny:
The second paragraph....
=====================================
Rep. Robert Wexler , a Democratic congressman who represents parts of the area, said he witnessed the confusion himself.

"I saw it with my own eyes. Hundreds of people left the ballot box and became hysterical in the parking lots when they realized they had probably voted for Pat Buchanan," he told CNN's "Larry King Live."

Gore carried the county by more than 110,000 votes, but the 3,407 votes for Buchanan were by far the most of any Florida county, and almost 20 percent of his total vote in the state.

Republicans noted that the ballot in dispute was approved by Democrat Theresa LePore, the county supervisor of elections.

"The ballot is very straightforward," said Roberts, the state elections director. "You follow the arrow, you punch the location. Then you have voted for who you intend to elect."

Baker agreed. "I've heard some suggestions that a ballot was confusing, a ballot that a Democratic election supervisor had approved (and) which had been used in prior elections, so I think we need to back off here a little bit in terms of threatening lawsuits, filing lawsuits, and hurling charges," he told CNN.
