I have the feelling that bush will lose florida because of the recount, or if gore does somewhow manage to lose that he start slew of legal challanges to the vote that could very likely be the beginning of the end for the Nation. And as for those "confused" florida old people, Shut the fuck up! If you can't read the vote you don't need to vote. I can only hope if I end up like them that my kids will have the decency to put me down.     | ||

I'd fight for GA, we had the highest Libertarian vote baby!! But really, I don't care too much if Bush loses. I rather have him than Gore, but I'm embaressed to call myself American after this last election. | ||

well right now bush is up by 900 and some odd votes, but there are still about 20 more precints who have not reported in yet, iguess gore is already talkin about legal election laws and his lawyers are considering lawsuit. I wonder if there would ever be such thing as a re-vote in florida, that would be crazy cause then i think gore would win, just because of all the pissed off people | ||

Please someone explain something to me....how can Bush lose all of FLA?? Arent there districts or whatever? Didnt SOME districts vote for Bush regardless? Here, we are divided up bewteen 242 (i think thats the right number) "ridings". The guy with the most ridings win, the second most gets to be the Official Opposition, and the rest snooze, but if they win a "riding" they have a say in parliament regardless of whether or not they are the ruling parties. I dont understand how you can lose an entire state. | ||

kat our system doesn't work that way. We have a Single Seat plurality system which basically means winner take all. It sounds like you're in a Proportional representation system, where if you win 5% of the votes you get 5% of the seats. Here like in Florida there's 25 electoral votes available from that state, whoever has the most votes wins all of them. ------------------ |
