Here we are, on the eve of election day. In a group of people where the majority could be convicted of felonies, we are pointlessly waving the flag of puppets named Bush and Gore.

We constantly make arguments that a vote for a 3rd party is a wasted vote...Oh I forgot, you know more about poltics than Jesse Ventura who said, "Anyone who doesn't vote their conscious is wasting their vote."

When you vote for Bush or Gore you are telling the government that you want big government. You want high taxes. You want the war on drugs. How could you stand for a candidate that believes we should be locked in jail for years for the desire to improve our bodies? How could you stand for a candidate that will not abolish the FDA? The same FDA that just banned yet another drug we commonly use.

"Bush or Gore is going to win, and you know it."

As Nader says, the 3rd parties are a watchdog. The more votes the more of a message it sends to the major parties to get their act together. Does a vote for a Republican tell the government to change? No. Democratic vote? No. A vote for a Libertarian, however, is a very distinct message. It is a message that can't be confused. When listening to a Libertarian you never get distracted and ask yourself, "What party is this guy from again? I can't seem to tell the differennce..." With the Libertarians you don't have bigoted anti-gay fanatics. You don't have crazy gun control advocates. You don't have to worry about the government raiding your house and taking you away in handcuffs.

Hell, if you can't see the flawed logic in the "wasted vote" theory, maybe you shouldn't even be voting. I rest my case and I welcome all arguments.

While I see the point you are making here, I hope that you are going to vote for Bush.
I believe that Bush is by far the lesser evil of the two. I feel your vote would be or greater importance to help ensure the country does not fall into the hand of GORE.
